Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Contract Length: Until the December 2024
Pay Rate: £12.99 per hour

Our government client based in Bicester currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
- Sorting and distributing mail
- Photocopying, filing, posting or proof-reading data
- Answering telephone calls and relaying messages
- Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report
- Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
- Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required
- Acting as an administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources
- Preparing routine correspondence

This will be working in the Regional Rehabilitation Unit in RAF Halton working with patients with a range of rehabilitation needs where admin plays a crucial role.

Working pattern: 37 hours
0800-1700 Monday to Thursday with 60min for lunch
0800-1300 Friday nil lunch break

Requirements:
- Two GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent
- NVQ Business Administration level 1 (or suitable administrative experience)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills, both oral and written

More detail about the role We are looking for someone who has ideally had previous Administrative experience, with knowledge for Microsoft Office applications and a flexible attitude towards work. The post holder will be trained to use our in house Electronic Patient Record System. The post holder will work within the ever changing outpatients department using our electronic patient record system. Managing the admin email inbox, tracking patient's waiting lists, calling patients over the phone (following correct protection of information processes), working with our text reminder service, the booking of some follow up appointments as per Trust guidelines and actioning tasks as requested by the admin lead. We are working on a number of projects to reduce patient's from missing their appointments and these will be supported by post holder. A number of other roles maybe added to the role as time goes on.
