We invite applications for the post of Clerical Assistant to join our forward-thinking, successful and oversubscribed school. The successful candidate will join a friendly, welcoming, supportive and dedicated team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to work within our reception team to help run the student and visitor reception. The closing date for this post is 26/06/24, but we reserve the right to interview candidates as applications are received and shortlisted. Start date is 02/09/24, but an earlier start can be agreed if convenient with the successful applicant.
Main duties will include:
Maintain manual and computerised records/management information systems
Undertake routine administrative procedures, which may include supporting with attendance
Operate relevant equipment/computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel, databases, spreadsheets, ParentPay, SIMS, Internet)
Provide general advice and guidance to staff, pupils, parents and visitors
Undertake routine financial administration e.g. processing orders, receipt, recording and banking of monies due to the school
Basic first aid
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent interpersonal skills, effective use of IT packages, good organising, planning and prioritising skills
An eye for detail
A passion for working alongside and supporting children
