We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Developer Services team.

What you will be doing as the Senior Project Manager, you will lead and manage a team of up to 10 Project Managers to deliver a customer led programme in the Thames Valley region. What you will be doing as the Senior Project Manager; You will take ownership for complex projects and motivate a multi-disciplinary project teams to develop best value solutions to briefed studies and projects. You will be responsible for the delivery of a varied range of water and wastewater projects for Developers, Infrastructure Companies, Highway Authorities and other transport authorities. These will range from £250,000 in value through to £15 million.

This is predominantly an office-based role, but you will be required to travel across London to visit developers, construction sites and other Thames Water sites. Awareness of risks such as plant machinery, working at height, trench safety, noise and harmful materials will be needed.

Duties to include but not limited to:

- Deliver a portfolio of complex, high value projects.
- Ensure that projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
- Establish practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
- Drive to constantly improve health, safety and environmental performance within a portfolio of assigned projects.
- Have excellent people and performance management skills, monitoring performance and staff development.
- Initiate and develop great communication and good relationships with key stakeholders.
- Drive a customer-focussed accountable culture in pursuit of excellent service to both internal and external customers.

What you should bring to the role:

- Be educated to degree level, ideally in engineering or have achieved a recognized professional qualification in project management with utilities/pipelines experience.
- Have extensive knowledge in the construction or utility industry within the project management environment - with evidence of leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Have a proven record of leading a Health and Safety performance culture in the construction or utility industry.
- Hold a full UK driving licence as travelling to other sites is essential.
- An in-depth understanding of the development of design, construction, and operation of above and below ground projects is essential.
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating innovation and excellence.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to clearly interact with your team and our customers.
- Motivate and lead your team with a focus on improving performance and recognising development.
- Collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective.

In this role, you will play a vital part in managing the workflow of retained activities and supporting our outsourced partner in resolving exceptions and complex customer queries.

What you will be doing as the Business Services Coordinator: You will play a key part in supporting and assisting with the implementation of new processes and systems, continuously improving how we serve our customers. Exciting opportunity at Thames Water! Seeking a Civil Engineer to ensure our capital projects meet top standards. Drive engineering work on our leading Sewage Treatment works. Develop project briefs, mitigate risks, and provide technical assurance. Join us in delivering excellence in design and safety. Be part of our ambitious AMP7 journey and beyond.

What you’ll be doing as a Civil Engineer

- Coordinate the development of Project Briefs based on the needs defined by Asset Management.
- Understand project risks and coordinate mitigation activities. Collect documents and information to inform contractor pricing and risk provision.
- Prepare and support technical reviews through the projects' Definition, De-Risking, and Detail Design phases.
- Conducted technical assurance checks and audits of contractor activities and outputs during the project's detailed design and construction phases.

This role will be based at Clearwater Court Reading on a Hybrid basis. You will be required to be in the office and on-site 2-3 days a week, and as the business requires you to.
36 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
Ideally, to be a driver and have access to a car to travel to sites.

What you should bring to the role

- Hold a Civil Engineering Degree or an equivalent Engineering HNC
- Background in oil and gas, highways or wastewater
- Understanding of project delivery in process industries
- Understanding of Health and Safety in the Construction Industry
- Background in developing technical project solutions or Briefs in a specific discipline
- Fully proficient at using the appropriate Company IT systems and Office software

Area: Covering Reading, Guildford & Slough (upto 50 miles)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Tester to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in various commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to identify and report on potential hazards and compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments.
• Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.
• Identify and document defects, non-compliances, and potential safety hazards.
• Provide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions.
• Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical advice.
