• The duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Serves as the VS Space Manager liaison with MRPBS, Acquisition and Asset Management Division (AAMD) Facilities staff concerning management of space.
• Tracks and maintains oversight for all assigned government operated vehicles (GOV). Monitors all VS fleet cards and works closely with the APHIS Fleet Manager.
• Serves as VS-wide liaison for action officers within MRPBS, Acquisition and Asset Management Division.
• Serves as a VS Accountable Property Management Officer, provides guidance and manages VS program.
• Serves as VS-wide liaison with MRPBS regarding timekeeping.
• Assists in providing guidance and oversight to VS business units on travel issues of all types, including international travel.
• Researches and compiles statistics and informational data for recurring and special administrative and program reports, which often have deadlines to be observed.
• Develops information from studies, analyzes and drafts recommendations for action or decision on matters relating to fleet, space, property, time and attendance, etc.

Reporting to a Project Manager, you will be managing live packages, progress reporting and overseeing health & safety and quality.

Experience / Qualifications Required:

• Background of subcontractor management within a main contractor environment. Ideally fit out of live packages across high rise residential, multiple occupancy builds, student accommodation etc.

• Experience of managing various internal packages
• Academically Qualified with BSc Construction Management / HND/HNC or equivalent and relevant industry tickets and certificates.

• Track record of the delivery of high standards and behaviours in HSEQ
• Excellent planning & time management skills with the ability to think ahead & manage risk.

About the Role

This Fixed Term role will assist the Head of Business IT implement the new Operating Model for the department.

Using your PMO and BA skillset you will assist the Head of Business IT to get the department up and running and embed new ways of working.

Objectives:

1. Define a suite of Job Descriptions, delivering a competency framework for career mapping, using the SFIA competencies as a base. ~20-25 JD’s.
2. Create a Quality Management System and define the processes used for Project Delivery
3. Create templates for Project Delivery Artefacts within the defined processes
4. Work with Group PMO to define journeys and reporting requirements within Project for the Web
5. Work with Project Managers to standardise use of PftW and promote the new QMS

About You

Candidates will have worked with and defined elements of a full project delivery process, be experienced with Prince 2 structured delivery methods and process writing in Visio.

You will be a self-starter and enjoy working with others. Your collaborative approach will bring people with you on the change journey.

You will be a great communicator and have the assignment objectives at the forefront of your mind.

You will be driven and used to overcoming blockers to achieve results, whilst championing the Morgan Sindall values.
