What you will do 

Johnson Controls is a global leader in the design, manufacture, installation, and service of a comprehensive array of networked and integrated fire alarm and suppression, security, and communications systems. Our continued success and growth has produced a need for a SSE, Service Sales Executive. The primary function of this position is to promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems products to include fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, communication and inspections. Determine customer needs and develop sales strategies to meet those objectives. Close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives. Develop a positive ongoing relationship with customers. Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog that will support the sales plan. Conduct building surveys to support the development of estimates.  

How you will do it 

• Establish contact with prospect and qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up of leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies. 

• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company service offerings. 

• Close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives. 

• Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog that will support achieving the designed sales plan. 

• Conduct building surveys to support the development of estimates. 

• Maintain correct and complete records of all sales related activities. 

• Submit all required sales reports, expenses, competitive activity and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner. 

• Develop a positive ongoing relationship with customers to ensure that Johnson Controls is meeting their requirements to ensure long-term customer loyalty. 

• Support the service department to generate leads for service or equipment/device upgrades.

What you will do        

Under direct supervision, tracks and provides direct support for the planned service agreement renewal process. Actively participates in accounts receivable activities such as collections and new customer authorizations. Provides back up customer call handling, as needed. Provides administrative, day to day support in the service operational areas.

How you will do it

1. May be responsible for the scheduling, tracking, and monitoring of the touch point plans and the contract renewal life cycle process with the account owners. Escalate issues to appropriate individuals for timely follow-up as required. May require direct interaction with customers for follow-up to secure purchase orders or to meet special invoicing conditions. 

2. Updates the Service delivery plans as required by team. 

3. Runs query reports, researches, and reconciles unaligned costs, such as labor hours, material purchases, expenses and other service-related transactions. 

4. May prepare and submit service billings in a special invoice format as defined by individual customer account special handling requirements. 

5. Reconciliation of accounts payable exceptions as necessary. 

6. Researches, resolves, or escalates accounts receivable disputes as outlined in the escalation process. Works with Accounts Receivables contact to assist with resolution of truck-based team A/R issues. Determines appropriate actions for timely resolution. If needed, will interact with Customer to resolve receivable issues. Processes invoice credits and re-bills, as necessary. Proactively contacts customers ensure customer satisfaction and a commitment to pay. 

7. Updates and retains customer account information related to special billing conditions, tax status, invoice approval contacts, billing addresses and special billing rates up to date. 

8. Support inventory control process including updating equipment asset transactions. 

9. Assist CSAs in resolution of warranty/SD warranty issues. 

10. Provide additional service administration support, as required.

What you will do: 

Service Technicians diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on card access, CCTV, burglar alarm systems, electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products at customer sites.  

How you will do it:

• Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. to repair equipment.  
• Service, troubleshoot, and install card access, CCTV, and burglar alarm systems.  
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.  

• Exhibit effective customer service skills by consistently communicating with staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction. 
• Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices such as smart phones and laptop computers.  
• Obtain customer signature upon completed service call assignment.  
• Available for on-call emergency service.  
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

What we look for:  

Required 

• 2-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
• 4 years documented experience with card access and CCTV. 
• Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices.

A Service Specialist is part of a team that provides various administrative support to our clients which may include; copy, print, mail, hospitality, facilities and receptionist services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mail Services includes metering, sorting, and distributing mail and accountable packages per schedule
• Copy Services includes accurately producing copy, print and scan projects per written instructions
• Reception includes answering incoming telephone calls and routing to the appropriate person, will greet and announce visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Hospitality Services includes coordination and upkeep of client conference rooms, common areas and kitchens. Inspect and ensure that all rooms are clean, stocked with supplies and ready for continual use. Organize and distribute client kitchen supplies. Field Technical Service Representative

Description -

This customer facing, non-exempt HP Printer field break/fix position provides a wide range of hardware support and related services specifically to HP’s Print Products customers. This position will be based onsite at the customer in the Sacramento, CA Area. This is not a remote position. Valid CA drivers license is required.  This is a team-based group of self-starting, technical/mechanical delivery professionals. Each member of the team performs installation, repair and relocates various types of HP printers and related technology on customer sites, within a defined geography.  A fast paced, constantly changing environment that requires positive approaches and demonstrated success at handling multiple stressors. Candidates must be self-contained, resourceful and determined for success.

This ever changing environment presents each team member with various daily events that educate customers about the technology, manage critical service events, and interact with multiple levels of both HP and customer management/teams. These teams are responsible for completely satisfied customers and helping to grow HP’s business in a profitable manner and within budget. It is imperative that the Field Service Rep. understands the financial aspects and business impact of what they deliver, how and why. JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for providing installation of equipment in the practitioner’s office under the direction of a Lead Technician or Project Coordinator. Work closely with experienced installers and supervisor to develop and improve customer service skills, use provided support tools, learn effective troubleshooting techniques, and increase product knowledge.
