Job role/Responsibilities:
Undertake statutory assessments and develop and maintain EHCPs across the Local Authority for children with SEND. Manage a caseload of children with EHCPs, attending annual reviews and updating plans as needed. Liaise with childcare, education, and vocational providers to secure appropriate placements for children and young people with EHCPs.

• Coordinate a person-centred, outcome-focused, multi-agency approach to assessment, planning, and support, ensuring young people and parents are treated as partners in creating EHCPs. Act as key worker for allocated young people requiring SEND assessments or EHCPs.
• Serve as the Named Officer and primary contact for assigned schools, colleges, and institutions attended by Cheshire East Council residents with SEND.
• Attend and, when necessary, chair multi-agency co-production meetings. Analyse and evaluate educational, medical, social care, and psychological reports to make balanced, outcome-driven service recommendations.
• Meet with young people, parents, and carers to discuss and resolve SEND support decisions, guiding families to Independent Advice and Support or advocacy as needed.
• Submit comprehensive evidence to Moderation Panels to facilitate decision-making.
• Support the SEND team in promoting an inclusive approach, advising families to make informed choices about special educational needs support.
• Represent the Local Authority in mediation and appeals, including First Tier Tribunal (SEN and Disability).
• Track progress and outcomes of commissioned provision for young people and ensure achievement of outcomes.
• Liaise with non-educational agencies to secure necessary services and advise schools to effectively use SEND funding.
• Ensure resources for SEND support and EHCPs are allocated, monitored, and reviewed, including guidance on personal budgets and outcome measures for reporting young people's progress.

Knowledge/Expereince required:

• Extended experience in/with early years, school, college, Local Authority, health, independent setting in relation to children and young people with special educational needs and disability.
• Successful experience of collaborative and partnership working with school staff and partner agencies.
• Effective working with families or young people.
• Effective multi agency working Statutory Assessment (SEND, Child Protection etc.).
• Reviewing monitoring and evaluating performance against agreed targets. Presenting evaluative reports to ley and professional audiences.
• Working with and delivering support//careers guidance/advisory services to children /young people and their parents.
• Effective up to date theory and practice in the field of special educational needs relating to areas of responsibility.
• Understand relevant legal frameworks.
• Awareness and understanding of the impact on parents/carers.

The service's remit is improving outcomes for people who have high levels of service utilisation who present with severe personality disorder.
The objectives of the role are to increase the clients’ stability, reduce levels of service utilisation (particularly urgent and unplanned care), broadly improve mental health outcomes, increase the likelihood of the person’s engagement in formal, planned mental health therapy treatments so that discharge may take place in a planned, recovery focused way.

East Complex Needs team is a fantastic team to work for. We are a small team working with a caseload of clients with personality disorder delivering psychological therapy. We look forward to your application


1. Manage a caseload and work within relevant codes of practice at all times
2. Undertake individual service user focused specialist assessments on all referrals received by the team.
3. Use skills for assessing, interpreting and appropriate diagnosis of mental health service users conditions and carrying out appropriate action.

5. To deliver evidence based interventions which are measurable and which promote the service users journey along the recovery pathway.

This post sits within the clinical service unit for secure and rehabilitation services which includes 2 inpatient units and a forensic support (outreach) team. This is a replacement post due to the post-holder moving elsewhere within the organisation.

The post holder is expected to provide clinical leadership for the 15 bed adult mental health low secure (Saddlbridge) rehabilitation unit and the 7 step down rehabilitation beds within Maple. The post holder will provide clinical leadership for discussions of referrals to these beds via the single point of access gatekeeping / referral meeting.

In essence, the post holder will mostly provide medical leadership for up to 22 beds along with 1 full time equivalent of a Core / Speciality Trainee (from Northwest Deanery) and FT Staff Grade doctor.

They will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team providing assessment and treatment to the cases referred and in developing close working relationships with CMHTs, CCG’s and other relevant agencies. They will have continuing responsibility for the patients in their charge and will be responsible for holding ward rounds and multi-disciplinary case conferences and developing close links with external agencies to ensure throughput of patients and discharge to appropriate accommodation. Once discharged from the service, patients will continue to receive care from their local CMHT or in other parts of the Trust’s rehabilitation services based on their needs. The post holder will be expected to maintain their Section 12(2) and Approved Clinician Status and update the trust accordingly.

Field Service Engineer required for an industry leading service provider to the medical and laboratory industries. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking for a company who are committed to investing in their employees as they can offer full and ongoing training, as well as job security. This role would suit candidates from any electro-mechanical background as full product related training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out service, repair, and calibration work to laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, incubators, freezers etc. You will be joining an existing team of six engineers who cover customer sites in the UK, and this role will predominantly focus on the Northwest region. What you'll be doing...

Your key responsibilities as the Service Delivery Manager will consist of:

• Manage all aspects of IT service management framework including, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Support and Service Requests for internal customers.
• Proactively works with the IT Leadership team to understand business strategy, priorities, and needs, and ensures that the IT Service roadmap is fit for purpose to support the needs and growth plans.
• Produce monthly IT Service KPI report.
• Act as an escalation point for customers and business key stakeholders.
• Ensure suppliers are performing to contractual requirements and SLAs, including monitor and reporting on supplier performance.
• Approves all business IT Service models prior to the technical solution being promoted to live service.
• Represents the IT Technology function at service providers' customer review meetings when appropriate.
• Be a key player in the Business Continuity and IT disaster recovery process.

What can you bring?

Skills & experience:

• 10+ years in a technology service leadership role.
• ITIL V4 certified.
• Prior experience of working in a multi-site organisation and management of technology installations and service.

• Experience of agreeing, creating, and monitoring SLAs/OLAs/KPIs.
