As a Mobile Funeral Service Arranger with the A & W English, Alfred English & B Wallis brands, you will represent our funeral homes across our 9 locations in Bethnal Green, Walthamstow, Hoxton, Woodford, Clapton, Leytonstone, Dagenham, Ilford & Forest Gate, providing compassionate care and support to families during one of the most challenging times in their lives.

This role requires a unique blend of empathy, professionalism, and resilience, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with families to arrange personalised funeral services, offering guidance on every detail to meet their needs.
• Regularly communicating with clients via email, phone, and in person, ensuring they feel supported throughout the process.
• Caring for deceased individuals in our care, maintaining their presentation for family visits with dignity and respect.
• Preparing for family visits, creating a welcoming and comforting environment for those wishing to spend time with their loved ones.
• Handling administrative tasks with accuracy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintaining excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Training in Funeral Plan Consulting and, once qualified, assisting families in creating bespoke funeral plans.
• Flexibility to travel between our funeral homes based on operational needs, supporting different locations as required.

The Store Consultant consistently delivers a positive customer experience to all customers, utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives and provide solutions. This customer service focused team member is knowledgeable in all areas of the Store’s business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping. They will be responsible for taking orders, coordinating activities in the Store, providing pricing and product information, and recommending appropriate FedEx Office products and services. The Store Consultant will operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment, move boxes and equipment, stock materials, manage the production queue and output, manage complex projects, manage retail supply, and complete assigned tasks based on priority.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Service

• Demonstrates consultative behaviors in a retail environment to understand each customer’s individualized need
• Provides customer expertise in printing, signs and graphics and shipping product lines and can recommend appropriate FedEx Office products and services
• Provides an outstanding customer service experience by using consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to meet customer needs
• Ensures all customer problems are resolved quickly and to the satisfaction of the customer
• Takes complex customer orders using order systems and provides accurate pricing information
• Assembles parcels and prepares goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels
• Sets up and operates printing, binding, and other related equipment using customer supplied original media and documents
• Maintains a safe, clean and orderly retail Store

Profit

• Ensures confidentiality of customer data and careful handling of documents, media, and packages
• Processes financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS),including handling cash and making change
• Cleans, repairs, and stocks all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to provide optimal performance and availability
• Stays current on retail Store merchandising materials and ensures proper display of all retail area product and signage
• Takes preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
• Completes required financial paperwork and may assist with financial reporting including daily sales, close-outs and bank deposits
• Follows FedEx Office standard operating procedures as well as adhering to legal, HR, safety , customer service and security policies and procedures

• Performs multiple tasks at the same time
• Looks for opportunities to improve knowledge and skills within the retail Store
• Able to operate with minimal supervision
• Adheres to all FedEx Office team member and retail store standards, as outlined in the team member handbook

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 6+ months of specialized experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Senior Product Manager, BuildService Experience

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help lead our Builder Service Experience focus within our Platform and Data Services subdivision.   The Platform and Data Services subdivision primarily builds tools, frameworks, and products for use by internal athenahealth development teams within our athenaOne flagship product.  Additionally, we also have a suite of technical products such as APIs, Eventing, CDS Hooks, SSO, etc., that can be leveraged by external customers who want to build on top of the athenaOne ecosystem.  These products may be used by existing athenaOne customers who want to build their own apps or by third-party health IT companies who will innovate specific workflows leveraging these tools.  

This role will be focused on customer-facing experiences for these “builders” to learn about, onboard to, manage, and get support for these technical products.  While each technical product is different, the customers using them often leverage more than one so the priority is improving the consistency of experience and depth of capabilities within each to empower our customers. Key responsibilities include: understanding the market and customer, driving to a product vision, developing business cases, ensuring a product or set of product features meets business requirements and driving the creation and delivery of the product. This position will work daily within scrum teams defining and writing user stories, prioritizing product backlogs, and making trade off decisions between scope and schedule.
