The role:

We are looking to support our Training Team by recruiting a bright and enthusiastic Training Coordinator, 5 days per week. This is an exciting opportunity as the role is diverse and challenging.

The training administration team has responsibility for the day to day running of the training courses, including engaging with learners, trainers, markers and awarding bodies. This is a busy department and is the main point of contact (predominantly by phone or email) for learners undertaking our courses. Therefore, a willingness to engage positively with learners and co-workers is essential.

With learners at different stages of their training, no two days will ever be the same - but here's a good overview of what the role involves:

-Liaising with internal stakeholders, training venues, trainers, markers and learners

-First point of contact for student queries re administration and setting up tutor support as required

-Registering learners on courses

-Invoicing and preparing Purchase Orders

-Preparation of course materials

-Collation of course work and allocating to Markers

-Disseminating feedback and results to learners

-Maintaining learner records

-Requesting certification from Awarding Bodies

-Preparing and sending certificates to Learners

The person:

We are looking for someone with great attention to detail and the ability to manage and prioritise their own workload, coupled with excellent customer support skills.

We have a fantastic opportunity at one our schools in Northampton for an experienced and interactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the team on a full time, permanent, term time only basis. You will:

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor pupils progress and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil's achievement, progress and development will be integral to this role
• Provide learning support for pupils and teachers within a Self-Directed Learning philosophy
• Take a lead role in the provision of support for children with special educational needs and disabilities
• To work with pupils, understanding how to motivate and encourage them to achieve and develop through the development of their attributes, skills and knowledge
• To act as a Key Worker for identified pupils, regularly liaising with parents and staff to ensure progress against Learning Plan Targets
• Provide objective and accurate feedback and reports as required on pupil achievement, progress and other matters, ensuring the availability of appropriate evidence
• Assist with ensuring that effective systems including Risk Assessments are in place to identify and meet the needs of students
• Analyse and interpret assessment data to inform Learning Support, expectations and targets timely and as required
• Support and communicate effectively with staff in their understanding and support for the learning needs
• To support the safe delivery of practical lessons over Zoom (e.g. Art, Food, Design and Technology)
• Organise and manage an appropriate learning environment and resources
• To compliment the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve joint-planning with teachers, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals / groups, or short term for whole classes across all year groups in the school (Years 3-13)
