Internal Sales Executive - Engineering
£30,000 - £50,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
Milton Keynes - Office based.
Working hours - 08:30 to 17:00 Monday - Friday
Our client is an innovative engineering company that manufactures plant and machinery, exporting 65% of their products.
This role doesn't involve any cold calling and is all about building and maintaining excellent relationships with distributors across the globe.
If you're a professional Sales Specialist who is technically minded, and you have a strong willingness to learn, this could be the perfect role for you!
There will be opportunity to develop within the role, and to travel internationally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Phone and email handling, quoting prices and stock position to customers plus order processing and transport/shipping requirements,
- Preparing quotations for customers having consulted with production and the warehouse,
- See the sales orders through end to end, liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Planning, Collating, and issuing Social Media feeds/company updates, such as product launches, exhibitions, and job reports through all platforms, responding and linking to distributors and users,
- Site Visits alongside managers, and service teams to gain knowledge and to learn more about machine usage/techniques and customer requirements, in short understanding the market.
- Involvement in Video link meetings with customers.
- Attend Exhibitions and support the team at both home and overseas venues.
We're looking for an individual with the following skills set: -
- Must have previous experience of working within an Engineering organisation or have studied Engineering, ideally mechanical,
- Good communicator, team player and experienced using social media,
- Strong relationship building skills,
- Competent when using MS Office + in house ERP system (training provided)
- Be able to prioritise tasks under pressure,
- Self-motivated,
