This position assists the processing group and the front desk by reviewing insurance applications, data entry, inspections, and other pertinent information to evaluate, classify, and rate submissions for insurance by performing the following duties.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Provide full assistance and support for the sales and production process as needed.

• Work with Underwriter when reviewing risks submitted by Producers, rate submissions for premium and terms, issue written binders.

• Become thoroughly familiar with the use of all agency management software systems and suggest labor saving uses to management.

• Order and review inspections. This duty requires the ability to identify the different exposures of risks, verify information obtained on inspection with the information on policy for accuracy and verification of underwriting guidelines.

JOB SUMMARY

This job supports the organization through establishing new financial processes, providing complex financial modeling for new business strategies and providing advisory services to business leaders as they evaluate opportunities for strategic investments and capital planning.  This job will help internal customers throughout the family of companies to assess viability of strategies, evaluate financial results and risks to performance and establish new financial processes to support an evolving business.

• Calls on clients to deepen relationships and proactively owns, responds to, uncovers and anticipates future needs, roadblocks or risks and expectations
• Introduces solutions to clients in building and strengthening an effective portfolio;
• Works with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients’ individual needs
• Works closely with Case Manager on the on-boarding and retention of clients, ensuring the appropriate “Know Your Client” (KYC) and other compliance deliverables are met;
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet;
• Maximizes client experience by proactive sharing markets updates, trend and intelligence
• Drives innovation in the solutions we provide clients and further developing our business where necessary and appropriate
• Execution of strategic initiatives launched centrally at all levels (Group, Bank, commercial market and EIB)
• Networks with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities;
• Administrate the credit relationship of the client, coordinating and supervising the entire process, ensuring the proper application of policies and institutional processes
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies / guidelines at all time
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience
• Bilingual (French and English). English proficiency is required as Citibank is looking to establish this business line (Commercial banking) in Montreal, and therefore no existing team may be leveraged to interface with Citi teams globally
• Sound knowledge of banking and investment products and process as well as a track record of providing sound banking and financial advice and solutions to clients
• Demonstrates intermediate to advanced credit skills; structures more complex deals, including global transactions
• Demonstrates an expert level of Early Warning Detection skills
• Demonstrates expert level credit skills; capable of structuring all credit deals and guiding staff through the credit deal approval process
• Demonstrates advanced Citi’s credit-process and credit-appetite knowledge
• Ability to work effectively in team setting
• Ability to coordinate multi-functional teams to provide an exceptional client experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (e.g. negotiation, consultative skills, leadership)

Responsabilités :

• Établir des listes de clients potentiels et conclure de nouvelles relations de gestion de prêt et de trésorerie pour la constitution de portefeuilles;

• Avoir plus de 10 années d’expérience
• Être bilingue (français et anglais).  La maitrise de l’anglais est requise comme Citi cherche à mettre en place cette ligne d’affaire (banque commerciale) à Montréal.  Il n’y a donc présentement pas ’'équipe en place dont les membres pourraient interagir avec leurs collègues anglophones à l’échelle globale.
• Avoir une connaissance approfondie des processus et des produits bancaires et d’investissement, ainsi que des conseils et des solutions bancaires et financiers judicieux que nous offrons à nos clients
• Démontrer des compétences en crédit de niveau intermédiaire à avancé; en structure d’opérations plus complexes, y compris des opérations mondiales
• Démontrer un niveau d’expertise en détection rapide
• Démontrer des compétences spécialisées en matière de crédit; est capable de structurer toutes les opérations de crédit et de guider le personnel tout au long du processus d’approbation des opérations de crédit

Hays Accountancy and Finance are pleased to be working with an education organisation in the Worcester area for a fantastic position in the finance function. This is joining an established organisation for a new role offering a start for early 2024, subject to clearance, with interviews taking place immediately.
Your new role
The role will be supporting the Head Of Finance in the day to day management of the finance function, financial reporting and monthly management accounts. The role will be temporary to support an immediate gap and will be ongoing for approximately 2 - 3 months whilst the organisation reviews permanent recruitment requirements.
Key duties will include:

• Financial reporting
• Month end duties
• Preparation of management accounts
• Cashflow forecasting
• Bank reconciliation
• VAT returns
• Variation analysis

Based working in the office across Monday to Friday, with options on start and finish times.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will need to have proven experience where you have competed management accounts and cashflow forecasting, using Sage 200 will be key for this role and ideally you will have VAT return experience. Education sector is not essential, however skills in management accounting and financial reporting is key. This role requires a start from the beginning of January and will be subject to a successful enhanced DBS and compliance checks.
