40 hours per week

We are seeking a compassionate Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our client's dedicated team in providing high-quality care to patients in an acute inpatient mental health setting. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a strong background in mental health nursing and a passion for improving the lives of individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
Qualifications
RMN qualification and valid UK NMC Pin
Proven experience in a mental health hospital or acute inpatient care setting
Strong understanding of mental health conditions and evidence-based treatments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to patient care
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
Administer medications and monitor their effects on patients
Provide therapeutic interventions and support to promote patients' mental well-being
Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with family members and caregivers to provide education and support
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with regulatory standards
