Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company's compliance with occupational safety and health regulatory requirements and implement the safety and health policy and procedures. 
• Develop, implement and conduct safety programs to prevent workplace accidents.
• Investigates all workplace safety inspections, identify potential hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions. 
• Perform regular workplace inspection/internal audit to ensure hazards/risks are mitigated.
• Lead and coordinate the Safety and Health committee meeting.
• To conduct Safety Induction Programmed of new employees and subcontractors.
• Organise and conduct employee safety training to raise safety awareness and improve emergency response capabilities. 
• Track and update changes in OSHA standards and relevant regulations to ensure timely compliance. Investigate and report any workplace accidents or violations, providing recommendations to prevent recurrence. 
• Collaborate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies to ensure the implementation of best safety practices and standards. 
• Liaise with local Authorities such as DOSH. DOE, BOMBA, JKKP and etc.
• To maintain and keep all the safety documents for the purpose of the inspection by any government bodies and audit.
• To carry out any other instruction made by the employer or any person in charge of the place of work on any matters pertaining to safety and health of the place of work.

Requirements:

• At least Diploma or Degree in Occupational, Safety & Health, Environmental or Certification from OSHA/NIOSH.
• Candidate must valid Green Book registration with DOSH (JKKP) for Safety and Health Officer (SHO).
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations, guidelines, and best practices. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with various departments.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, capable of independent analysis and judgment under pressure. 
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Content Creator cum Marketing Executive at Asian Beauty Corner located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The role involves creating compelling content and executing marketing strategies to promote various Korean cosmetic and skincare brands represented by Asian Beauty Corner.

Qualifications

• Posses a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-3 years experience in content creation, social media marketing, and digital advertising.
• Experience or strong interest in hosting live streams and engaging with audiences in real time.
• Strong writing and editing skills, proficiency in social media platforms, a basic understanding of SEO, and familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
• Experience in managing marketing campaigns and collaborating with influencers (KOL).
• Knowledge of the beauty industry, particularly Korean cosmetics and skincare trends.
• Understanding of e-commerce platforms and online marketing strategies.
• Experience with graphic design tools and video editing software is a plus (Canva, Capcut, Vimeo, Inshot & Adobe)

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Designs, supervises, coaches, instructs a variety of group exercise programs (e.g. Step, Spin, Water Aerobics) inside and outside of the fitness facility.
• Provides fitness training and programming to groups of various sizes.
• Prepares written instruction and procedures for performance of work, use of equipment, safety, and well-being of all involved.
• Provides instruction on the proper implementation and maintenance of conditioning and training programs for aerobic fitness, muscular fitness, body composition, and flexibility training.
• Conducts fitness testing, which includes measuring aerobic capacity, body composition, muscular strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, and blood pressure.
• Works with various command representatives to develop and implement physical fitness programs for military personnel.
• Provides certified personal training and group exercise service to active-duty military as outlined in the Navy's Physical Readiness Program Instruction.
• Assists with the instruction of the Command Fitness Leader course and fitness related general military training.
• Assists with patrons on the fitness floor by providing training tips in order to prevent unsafe or ineffective exercise techniques.
• Provides certified personal training services to all eligible patrons.
• Instructs patrons in the proper use of all equipment for training and self-monitored progress by preparing written instructions and Procedures for the performance of work, use of equipment, safety and well-being of all involved.
• Assists customers by providing general fitness information, instruction on proper use of fitness equipment and program information.
• Ensures fitness spaces and equipment are clean and maintained.
• Performs basic equipment maintenance and repair.
• Trains/leads other employees in various recreation/physical fitness-related positions.
• Prepares and analyzes functional area specific reports.
• Stays current with latest fitness programming ideas to increase attendance and improve customer satisfaction.
• Assists with marketing and promotion of fitness programs.
• Assists Fitness Director and/or Coordinator with Navy Operational Fitness and Fueling Series (NOFFS), Mission Nutrition Command
• Fitness Leader Course and other CNIC Headquarters supported/endorsed programs.
