• Provide advice in the area of radiological protection, referring upwards where appropriate and as agreed.

Ideal Candidate

We require an outstanding clinical skills and someone who is committed to providing a high quality, safe and effective service. The successful applicant will be encouraged to develop clinically and professionally, with training being actively encouraged in effective leadership (7up Programme). A high level of emotional intelligence will be required in the successful applicant, and the ability to be part of a cohesive MDT team will be critical to the role. Furthermore, the development and maintenance of key stakeholder relationships with CCG’s, LSCFT partner services and Acute Hospitals is vital to the role.


You will be expected to serve the whole of the multi-racial and multi-cultural community on the Furness and Cumbria and demonstrable values and commitment to diversity and anti-discriminatory practice. This will require the successful applicant to be a leader, mentor, teacher and role model. The role is comprehensive and will require a clear understanding of the Mental Health Act 2007 and will require a detailed knowledge of all aspects of Adult Safeguarding.
