In this Information Technology Specialist (CUSTSPT) IT Specialist - Reservist position, you will be a member of the IT Cadre and will perform a wide range of IT management activities that extend and apply to specified units in the FEMA organization and its major components. Typical assignments include:

• Deliver technical support services, including troubleshooting, installation, removals, systems knowledge assistance and/or training in response to customer requirements.
• Assist functional uses in resolving technical computer problems and malfunctions.

• Complete ownership of the full sales cycle including prospecting, demoing, closing,
• onboarding, training, and renewing
• Conduct a high level of in person client and prospect product demonstrations
• Provide valuable insight to all participants in the commercial property market, including
• Brokers, Owners, Investors, Lenders, Appraisers and Service Providers
• Represent CoStar by hosting and attending industry events and networking with commercial real estate professionals in your market

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Client facing experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry strongly preferred
• Two or more years of successful outside sales experience in a B2B environment selling Data, Research and Analytic platforms or tools, commercial real estate, financial services, business intelligence, marketing, or information providers. 
• Proven track record exceeding sales targets and quotas in a consultative sales environment
• Two or more years of experience training clients on how to use a solution post sale
• A current and valid driver’s license (or the ability to obtain a driver’s license prior to start date) is required
• Satisfactory completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check prior to start.  Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws
• Ability to regularly drive for extended periods and intermittently throughout the workday

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Regular and consistent access to an operational motor vehicle prior to or by start date

The Operational Technology (OT) Support Supervisor primary purpose is to provide strategic leadership in ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of the operational technology systems. This role involves overseeing a team of support analysts, setting technical standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the reliability and efficiency of industrial control systems and associated technologies. The IT Operational Technology Support Supervisor will optimize workflows, implement best practices, and foster a customer-centric culture through direct leadership of the IT Operational Technology team.
 

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of OT Support Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Provide technical guidance and oversight in troubleshooting complex issues, implementing software updates, and maintaining OT systems.

• Develop and execute strategic plans for operational technology support, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.

• Oversee and coordinate incident response efforts for OT systems, ensuring swift and effective resolution to minimize operational disruptions.

• Lead efforts to enhance the cyber security posture of OT systems, including risk assessments, vulnerability management, and compliance with industry standards.

• Collaborate with IT teams, operations, and engineering departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment of IT and OT strategies.

• Engage with vendors for procurement, support, and maintenance of OT hardware and software. Manage relationships with key stakeholders.

• Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to the use, maintenance, and security of operational technology systems.

• Implement training programs for the team and operational staff, ensuring continuous skill development and knowledge transfer.

• Implement monitoring tools and metrics to assess the performance and health of OT systems, identifying areas for improvement.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and incidents. Provide regular reports to leadership on the status and performance of OT systems.

• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, recommending and implementing enhancements to increase the reliability and efficiency of OT systems.

Required Qualifications

• Two years of post-secondary education or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of experience in MIS/Computer since or customer service role

• Strong leadership skills to effectively guide and motivate the OT team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information to non-technical users and interact effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.

• Proven ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. Quick and decisive problem-solving skills to handle critical incidents effectively.

• Customer service skills, ensuring positive user experiences and high levels of satisfaction.

• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and best practices, such as ITIL, to optimize support processes and ensure compliance with service level agreements.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in IT manufacturing support

• Relevant certifications in OT support technology or vendor-specific certifications from OT equipment manufacturers

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs to install OT hardware
