You will be joining one of five ‘Mortgage Advice Hub Teams’ comprising of Mortgage Advisors, Mortgage Advice Support Consultants, and our Direct Lending Advisors. These teams work in a collaborative and high performing environment, while also working closely with key stakeholders to deliver the best customer journey.

What will you be doing?
Your journey will begin in a mortgage advice cohort, giving you all the tools you need alongside your own experiences to apply your mortgage knowledge, along with our policy and procedures to ensure your customer receives the best advice for their circumstances.
Our mortgage advisors are there to provide expert advice and a first-class service to our members. This includes advising on purchases, remortgages, additional borrowing, and post contract variations, while ensuring your advice and recommendations are compliant. You will be the main point of contact with your customer throughout theirmortgage journey.
After completing a full fact-find conversation, enabling you to fully assess the customer’s needs and make an appropriate recommendation around mortgage product, term, and repayment type. You would then document this accurately to show the customers needs have been met.
During your conversation with the customer, you will be highlighting the importance of protection (Life Insurance and Critical Illness Cover) to establish any gaps or needs the customer may have. Our ethos is to ensure our customers are protected both now and in the future from life events that could impact them or their families.
What do we need from you?
You must hold the relevant qualification to give mortgage advice such as CF1 & CF6 or CeMAP 1,2 &3
Have the ability and experience to communicate clearly and comprehensively, making complex and confusing information understandable to anyone, while applying empathy and human touch to your conversations.
You must be able to ask the right question at the right time to gain a firm understanding of the customers’ needs. From this, you will provide robust and suitable mortgage advice. You will not be afraid to challenge where needed.
