Overview

The Security Governance, Risk & Compliance capability is required to deliver OpNET security risk management, implement security control measures, and documented evidence to meet OpNET assurance and compliance requirements as set by the MOD. Specifically, this means producing documentation and evidence to support:

* Cyber Defence and risk (CyDR) Secure by Design (SbD) iaw JSP 440.
* Network Operating Authority (NOA) JSP 604 Rules:
* Rule 10 - Information based capabilities shall be assured in accordance with current policy in JSP 440 Part 2 Leaflet 5C.
* Rule 11 - Defensive cyber operations assurance and cyber network defence compliance.

Job Overview:

Mitie is looking for Retail security officers who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

You must hold a current SIA licence or valid SIA certificates (licence can be provided) and a full 5-year checkable employment/education history.

Main duties:

- To deliver industry leading customer service

- To deter violence and public order offences

- To conduct patrols of the store

- Utilising CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss

- Liaise with the store management teams

- Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store

- To wear Body Worn CCTV to support in the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety

Job Responsibilities include: Needs Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify and prioritise public health challenges related to healthy weight and physical activity. Develop and implement strategies to address these needs. Evidence-Based Decision Making: Utilise data and evidence to inform decision-making and programme development. Partnership Development: Foster collaborative relationships with local partners, healthcare providers, and community organisations to advance healthy weight and physical activity initiatives. Programme Design: Develop and implement innovative programmes and interventions that promote healthy weight and physical activity. Evaluation and Improvement: Continuously evaluate programme effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to optimise outcomes. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with programme implementation. Service Procurement: Commission services and contracts related to healthy weight and physical activity, ensuring they align with strategic goals and quality standards. Contract Management: Oversee contract performance, monitor outcomes, and manage relationships with service providers. Mentorship and Supervision: Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering their professional development. Collaboration: Promote teamwork and collaboration within the Public Health team and with external partners. Knowledge Sharing: Disseminate information and resources related to healthy weight and physical activity to relevant stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with community members, policymakers, and other stakeholders to advocate for healthy weight and physical activity initiatives. Communication: Effectively communicate public health messages and information to diverse audiences. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest research, evidence, and best practices in public health, particularly related to healthy weight and physical activity.
