About the Role

As a Maintenance Person for Maria Mallaband care group you will be part the care homes team and as such work with other staff to ensure the safety of all the Service Users, visitors and employees. The work can be both physically and mentally demanding. Predominately the job is about Health and Safety checks of the building, environment and equipment. It will also require you to go into residents rooms and being able to feel comfortable around people living with dementia.

Professional

Main Responsibilities

As our Mobile Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for undertaking plant maintenance, repairs and improvements to ensure maximum reliability of all plant associated areas and to assist team members in aspects of plant operation.

Your responsibilities as the Mobile Maintenance Fitter will include (not exhaustive):

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager for a large production facility near Norwich. You will support the site services and facilities of this busy manufacturing plant.
Your new role
You will lead the site maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. You will be responsible for workflows, service calls, annual PPM and planned outages. Maintenance Worker and Gardener based at Cromwell House, Norwich

Available Hours:

Permanent - Full Time - 37.5 hours per week.

Reporting to the Manager you will be responsible for all general maintenance and upkeep duties required to ensure a safe and attractive environment for residents and staff.

Duties will include planned preventive work and safety checks, as well as running repairs and the supervision of outside contractors. This position would be a satisfying job for an individual who can demonstrate practical skills in maintenance, gardening as well as painting and decorating as well as respect for older people.

You'll make sure that all our gardens and grounds are beautifully presented and immaculately looked after, sharing your love of outdoor spaces with residents and visitors.

Grounds Maintenance Operatives- Norwich- NR9- X1 Job Available

Grounds Maintenance operatives are needed to work for one of the UK's leading landscape/grounds maintenance company.

Daily duties will include grass/ lawn cutting, litter picking, Strimming, Edgeing, Hedge cutting, Weed control, using mowers and powered tools and other general landscape labour duties as directed by the supervisor.

There are permanent roles available after a succesful probation period of 13-15 weeks

Ground maintenance experience and a driver's license is essential

Monday - Friday 40hrs per week

Immediate start available.

The pay rate is £13.45 per hour

What the school offers its staff



We are seeking the right person to join our Estates team and support the upkeep and maintenance of the grounds at Saltash Community School. The role also involves supporting the general maintenance and care of the site and buildings as part of a school site team. Primarily based at Saltash, the position does allow for support of our other Trust schools as required. A good standard of practical knowledge, skills and experience of grounds and building maintenance is required. However support with training and development is offered as part of our commitment to our staff.

You will be working alongside the school site team, or alone according to the work required. The ability to plan work alongside the Estates Manager, as well as self-manage and oversee planned or urgent works to completion are necessary. Further, a committed and positive approach to work and team building is essential.

About The Role
You will be working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30, 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.

Day-to-day operations:

• To travel to five health centres around the county of Norfolk to conduct weekly statutory testing of systems and flushing/temperatures of water systems.
• Manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
• Oversee visits by sub-contractors to ensure compliance with the service level agreements.
• To carry out H&S inspections.
• To conduct first fix repairs to building fabric, fixtures and fittings.
• Fix notice boards etc.
• General plumbing repairs.
• Changing of lighting panels/bulbs.
• Monthly report creation.
• Ensure professional quality of service delivery and compliance with legislative requirements.

Quality Standards:

• Ensure all Company polices and procedures are adhered to; and
• Ensure all client policies and procedures are adhered to.

Oversee Minor Works projects:

• Ensure all works meet the clients' requirements and are fully compliant with H&S, best practice, and all legislation; and
• Ensure the works are fully documented, procedures followed, and compliance recorded.

Budget Control:

• Ensure the services represent value for money and demonstrate that alternative options have been considered.

Reporting:

• Support the formulation of service proposals.
• Develop and manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.

Communication:

• Maintain communication with all stakeholders; and
• Develop and maintain relationships with client/end user decision makers.

Requirements:

• An understanding of KPIs, SLAs, and Lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of Hard FM services.
• Strong numeracy, literacy, and commercial skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills (communication).
• Excellent organisational skills and strong team player.
• Strong technical skills.
