Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Production Operative to work at their client's site based in Weston Super Mare, BS24. This role has an immediate start for the successful candidate, is ongoing, and may lead to a permanent contract moving forward. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
Pay: Between £11.42 and £13.85 per hour dependant upon experience
Duties will include:
* Dispense ink in line with the daily production plan(s)
* Move product to & from machine(s) if applicable
* Book back press returns into the dispense management system
* Place press returns in clearly marked locations
* Re-work press returns where possible
* Cluster press returns into common running colours
* Place a weekly material order using the order form provided
* File all delivery notes for month end consignment stock count
* Book new deliveries into the dispense management system
* Replenish material stocks on dispense management system
* Arrange uplift of any empty containers or waste ink, ensuring containers are safely palletised and lids are secured
Support ink blender and ink production through the following:
* Observe all customer and H&S rules and polices
* Ensure ink area complies with customers hygiene accreditation
* Maintain dispensing equipment and working area with good housekeeping techniques
Ideal background, skills and experience:
* You must have good colour vision and an eye for detail
* You must have excellent communication skills and be capable of performing their daily duties without direct supervision
* You must be able to work under pressure and demonstrate value activity to the customer
* IT skills are essential as are good problem solving skills
* You must be methodical and tidy in their work
