Our client based in Ledbury is looking for operatives to work for them on a temporary basis. You will be responsible for ensuring quality products by mixing materials within a factory setting.

Contract type: Ongoing.

Shifts : AM , PM shifts; Monday to Friday 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm. Salary: £12.05 per hour

Nights shift ;10pm-6am; Salary £14.55 per hour

Experience required but not essential : Full training and induction wil be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• To operate production safely following, undertaking whatever duties are necessary to ensure compliance within the quality and waste standards required by the Company.

• Carrying out full quality assurance checks and critical control checks

• Picking/ Packing

• Labelling

• Stock replenishment

• Be constantly vigilant to process or quality faults and ensure a thorough examination of the material, supporting line management in undertaking appropriate remedial action to correct the faults.

Food Production Operative

Our client based in Hereford is looking for food production operatives to work for them on a temporary to permanent basis.

The role involves working as a production operative in a fast-paced, dynamic factory, ensuring hygiene standards in short life shelf products. Duties include weighing, assembling, packing, labelling, and grading products, as well as manual handling, including lifting equipment up to 20kg. Candidates should have good English and basic numeracy skills, work well within a team, have attention to detail, and be flexible. Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is not essential, as full training will be provided.

• 40 hours per week
• Basic rate £11.44 per hour plus shift allowance of £0.42 per hour
• Weekly payments
• Overtime available (£17.16 per hour)
• Rotational shifts pattern: 05:00-14:00 / 14:00- 23:00 (including one hour of unpaid break) Monday – Friday

We are looking for a Production PlannIng Manager to join our client who are a leading player within the dry food industry. This can be a Hybrid role once a settling in period has been achieved.

Paying a Salary of up to £40,000 Working Monday to Friday ( no weekends) 8:30-17:00, 31 days holiday, health cash plan, gym membership, pension scheme and possible Hybrid working after qualifying period.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager with responsibility for production planning of finished and semi-finished goods and a dealing with stock replenishment. The production planner will be responsible for building strong relationships internall and external.

Closely working with Demand Planner/ Supply Chain Manager to ensure accurate forecasts are received and challenged where appropriate.
To ensure that daily and weekly plans are determined and issued in a timely manner to the relevant areas.
Securing of material substitutions where necessary
Request for concessions where required.
Request for life extensions where required.
Request for raw materials where required.
Run monthly capacity and labour analysis to highlight potential medium to long term constraints .
Responsible for generating daily/weekly labour plans that improve efficiency, minimise cost (yield loss) and satisfy customer demand.
On-going monitoring of finished goods and raw material stocks
Ensure data information is correct for both imported and manufactured goods.
Regular communication with Customer Services highlighting any potential service issues in the short and medium term,
Be responsible for all stock management and replenishment of the warehouse.
Regular reporting of KPI's
Compliance with health and safety, data protection, food safety and quality.
Have a strong customer service ethos and have the desire to exceed customer expectations.
Operate as an effective member of the supply chain team to help one another push the boundaries of business performance.

To be considered for this role you will have previously worked in a planning position within a manufacturing /FMCG or supply chain environment. . You will have an excellent understanding of logistics stock controls, plus be able to demonstrate a track record of managing business demands.
