This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group and work at one of our sites as a Production Operative. Gi Group is working on behalf of a client who supply Reusable packaging containers to major UK supermarkets.

Production Operative responsibilities:
* Working on a production line, loading & unloading trays from conveyor belts
* Palletising trays ready for dispatch
* Organising recycling
* Inspecting & quality control of items
* Accurate completion of paperwork
* Working at high speeds and meeting company targets (KPI's)
* Work within a team of factory operatives to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and always complies with company and legislative standards.

Production Operative required skills:
* Enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual
* Good attitude to work and learn new skills.
* No experience required full training provided
Production Operative Pay:
* Days £11.58ph, Overtime (40+ hrs) £13.08ph
* Nights £12.24ph, Overtime (40+ hrs) £13.74ph

* Days - 6am - 6pm, 3 on 3 off, working over a 7 day shift pattern

The Job People are recruiting for Production Operatives based in Leamington Spa to start ASAP within the Manufacturing and Production industry.

We are ideally looking for experienced candidates, from an automotive background used to working on busy production assembly lines.

Keen eye for detail is required, must be able to keep up with running lines speeds and have assembly experience. Some dexterity assembly is required.

The role is full time - long term and can lead to a permanent contract after a qualifying period.

Candidates must be flexible and available to work overtime, weekends or even some shift work to suit the business needs.

Shift work is paid with shift allowance each week. If rotation you will receive £17.20 per hour.

Fixed AM Shift £14.03 per hour for a Production Operative.

Details of a Production Operative :

• Monday to Thursday 07.00 - 16.00
• Friday 07.00 - 12.00
• 39 hours per week basic
• Pay from £14.03 per hour
• Overtime paid at x 1.5 after 39 hours
• Overtime pay £21.05 per hour

As a Production Operative in Leamington Spa, you would be required but not limited to:

• Operate Brake Press machines
• Have experience / knowledge in Electronic Press Brake machinery
• Loading and unloading parts
• Brake press operator
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Previous Production / Press experience desired
• Be able to work unsupervised where required
• Adhering to health and safety rules on site
• Progressing to learn several machines within the factory
