As a Production Operative, you'll work rotating day and night shifts, operating machinery, monitoring product quality, and maintaining safety. PPE is required for all shifts, and tasks include mixing, packaging, and labelling products.

Our Client Pilgrims Europe in Enniskillen are one of the largest food manufacturers in Europe and we are currently recruiting for Production Team Members for their factory.

The Role -
Working on an assembly line in a clean environment you will be picking and packing products into packaging ready for the dispatch area. You will also need an eye for detail, as you will need to be checking the quality of the product, and removing any defective items where necessary. Be aware and observe all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental best practice standards at all times.
Part of your role will also include completing paperwork to a high standard due to audit checks.

The Candidate -
We are looking for candidates, who are enthusiastic and who have the willingness to learn new skills. Candidates that can work under pressure in a busy food environment and who are able to work under their own initiative, but also part of a team where required to.
Previous experience of working in a production/warehouse environment would be desirable, but this is not a requirement, as full on the job training will be given for the role.

My client based in Hartlepool is currently looking for a Production Operative to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

Duties will include:

• Mixing of wet and dry ingredients
• Measuring of ingredients to accurately add to the base product
• Daily use of hand held gun to monitor stock levels through SAP
• Following step by step instructions for specified products
• Completion of daily paperwork
• Visual checks of all equipment prior to starting production, inspecting cleanliness and operational use

Your new role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, as Maintenance Administrator / Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to the team. You will ensure that all administration tasks are completed to the correct standard and in a timely manner. As Maintenance Administrator / Coordinator, you will attend department meetings, liaise with suppliers and contractors, set up, manage and maintain files and databases. You will schedule work for engineers, compile reports, keep team training records up to date and perform general administration duties. You will also be responsible for entering data accurately into spreadsheets, databases and other business systems, raising requests for quotations and raising purchase orders. You will build relationships across the factory, liaising with stores, engineering and other departments.


What you'll need to succeed
As Maintenance Administrator / Coordinator, it is essential that you have GCSE Maths & English at Grade C or above (or equivalent qualification) and previous experience in an Administration position. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with people at all levels across the business. You will be proficient in Microsoft suite and have excellent organisational / attention to detail skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in line with business requirements. You must be able to work as part of a team and use your own initiative.

Your new role

THE ROLE

Your new role

Audit, analyse and report Health, Safety and Wellbeing performance to internal and external stakeholders and regulatory bodies as required. Assist with all forms of hazard identification and risk control programmes to identify, assess, and control the businesses occupational Health & Safety risks. Design, deliver and oversee safety training programmes for employees at all levels to increase safety awareness, knowledge and engagement thus aiding them in fulfilling their Health, Safety and Wellbeing obligations. Work closely with the Safety teams across the Radius Systems Group to ensure sharing of best practice and alignment with wider company programmes.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a proven track record in health and safety leadership with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. You will have a NEBOSH qualified but ideally to the equivalent of NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ4 level (in health & safety). Computer literate and able to manage own workload to priorities. Have excellent written and spoken communication skills to engage with a wide range of people and to give presentations to groups in relation to health, safety, and wellbeing. Have the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels to ensure that health, safety, and wellbeing is at the forefront of all day-to-day decision making. Having patience and diplomacy are essential to ensure that operational objectives on safety, health and wellbeing are delivered in the face of potential competing priorities and have the ability to understand and analyse complex information and present it simply and accurately.
