Marketing and Communications Assistant

35 hours per week
Temporary maternity cover up to 31 May 2025
£26,666 – £27,232 / £14.61 - £14.92 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)

UHI Orkney wishes to appoint an individual with the right approach and communication skills to promote the college, supporting both student engagement and marketing activities.

The postholder will liaise with colleagues to support the development and implementation of impactful college marketing activities, participate in engaging events such as college open days and careers fairs, as well as maintain and monitor our social media presence and parts of the College website.

You should hold a SVQ3 or other SCQF level 6 qualification in a relevant area.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children.

You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
