Specific Responsibilities To undertake supply chain activities within Procurement and Theatres Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels for agreed range of products within Theatres to include clinical and non-clinical consumables Processing of all non-stock requisitions for the theatres function from multiple suppliers and ensure delivery is fulfilled within the required timescales. Responsible for ordering and replenish NHS SC Stock Support implementation and manage new inventory management systems. Receive, check, receipt, distribute and put away goods for all transactional activity Provide support to the Senior Sourcing Managers in the implementation of contracts and purchasing arrangements covering all goods and service for the Theatres function Review prosthesis order sheets from Orthopaedic theatres on a daily basis, and check against pre-determined stock levels prior to re-ordering Identify opportunities for product standardisation, optimum stock holdings. Perform regular stock rotation to aid waste reduction. Highlight to the management any stocks nearing end of shelf life within Theatres and Procurement. Use the appropriate electronic supply chain systems effectively and manage all associated electronic information appropriately, utilising any available reports to aid in rationalisation of goods in conjunction with customers.
