Process written foreign language translation requests Able to work autonomously and decide on low value order placement with best value for money providers. Responsible for ensuring that the purchasing department is efficient and responsive to the customer requirements. Prepare quotations as required for goods and services to Trust specifications. Respond to and manage all queries relating to computerised procurement systems. Respond to and manage all queries relating to invoice matching issues Expedite purchase orders as required. Work to team objectives set. Has an understanding of the correct ethics in transacting public business and display a high standard of conduct and professional approach when in contact with both clients and suppliers. Assist in advising in the efficient receipt, custody, issue and control of goods, in compliance with Trust procedures and policies. Arden and GEM CSU are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Transactional Procurement Assistant to join the Transactional Procurement Team. The main focus of the role will be to provide administrative support to the Procurement team and project support to the Senior Transactional Procurement Manager.

Although the role is based at Cardinal Square, Derby, after training on site, this role will be mainly home working, with the occasional requirement to travel to the office for face to face team meetings etc, if required.
• The Transactional Procurement team is evolving to meet the changing needs of our customers and stakeholders to ensure we deliver a valuable, trusted and compliant procurement service
• To deliver an effective and competent level of administration duties to deliver a client-focused service, to include converting purchase requisitions into orders and booking business travel.
• The successful individual will support the delivery of Transactional Procurement projects and support the Senior Transactional Procurement Manager in the delivery of the annual work plan; ensuring performance to key milestones and agreed key performance indicators are achieved.
