Purchasing Officer needed in Slough Paying £13.45 per hr ref 1348599
Full time hours on a temporary basis
- To provide a purchasing function within the Purchasing Team in respect of externally sourced adult social care and health funded services such as residential and nursing home, domiciliary care, supported living and support services.
- Source and negotiate prices for services within agreed budget parameters
- Administer and keep up to date electronic records of all contacts made with individuals, providers and social care and healthcare staff.
- To record purchasing activity. Records to include maintaining electronic log of purchasing activity, negotiations, correspondence, prepare and send out purchase orders, service user placement agreements and prepare reports as and when required
