RCHT presents an exciting opportunity for the position of Associate Director of Clinical Governance, a crucial role in the Trust's ongoing improvement efforts. This position is integrated within the Chief Nurse’s Team and reporting to the Director Of Integrated Governance collaborates closely with the Medical Director to oversee all aspects of quality governance. The individual will be responsible for a portfolio that includes Patient Safety, Legal Services, Clinical Effectiveness, Audit and Compliance, Quality Governance, and Risk, thereby enhancing the Trust's overall performance. Provide high quality advice and information to the Director Of Integrated Governance, Chief Nurse, Medical Director, Deputy Chief Nurse and the Board of Directors on all matters relating to quality governance.

Develop and influence robust clinical governance policies, procedures and guidelines at an organisational level.

Formulate long term strategic plans in relation to organisational wide quality governance and risk management.

Ensure that all target dates for assurance functions are met.

Develop and maintain systems and processes to ensure that all governance is comprehensively assessed, appropriately planned, effectively implemented and evaluated according to agreed policies, procedures and guidelines e.g. CQC / NHS Improvement / HSE / NICE / Information Governance Toolkit etc.

Analyse and act on information to proactively manage and deliver NHS targets.

This is a key role in further driving Quality improvement throughout the business As a Senior Quality Engineer with Watson-Marlow you will be working as part of the Quality Engineering team, and collaborating with the wider business to ensure Quality is embedded in new and existing processes and using data to drive continuous improvement.

• Support design change activities including risk management, verification and validation
• You will support other quality team members and departments in the use of Quality tools to drive best practice.
• Work with our engineering and supply teams on the delivery of new tooling projects

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Significant experience in a Quality Engineering role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the use of manufacturing quality tools such as SPC, Process Validation, Risk Analysis.
• Any experience of the following standards is advantageous - ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14971.
• Experience of corrective and preventive action
• Internal/lead audit qualified is advantageous
• eQMS experience is highly desirable.

The Supervisor (QA) will support the QA activities for the IMOS platform, delivering aircraft quality audits and service delivery in accordance with Leonardo DOPs and Serco SMS.

As part of this you’ll


- Act as an Auditor for Quality Assurance (QA) Audits within Merlin Depth.
- Request remedial actions concerning Merlin Depth QA Audits.
- Coordinate and processing Quality Occurrence Reports (QORs) raised and received by Merlin Depth.
- Provide advice regarding QORs raised and received by Merlin Depth.
- Coordinate and processing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Opportunities For Improvement (OFIs).
- Act as an Investigator for Health and Safety, Quality and Accident investigations.
- Act as a Maintenance Error Decision Aid (MEDA) Investigator for Technical investigations.
- Carry out generic Risk Assessments and Environmental Risk Assessments.

The Quality and Compliance Manager is an integral part of the WML Supply Senior Leadership team and critical to our ongoing success.
