Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Slough (Hybrid - 2-3 days in the office)
Rate: £22.50 per hour
Duration: 12 months

Join our team as a Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist and play a pivotal role in supporting our chocolate manufacturing team in a laboratory environment, ensuring the quality of our products, processes, and packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with organizational QA standards, international standards, and government regulations. Establish and utilize quantitative measurements to assess and improve quality.
- Manufacturing Quality: Define and specify activities, processes, and standards to meet quality requirements for manufactured materials, components, and products.
- System Management: Build and maintain systems to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
- Auditing and Monitoring: Audit and monitor manufacturing processes to ensure they meet defined internal and regulatory standards.
- Issue Resolution: Report and troubleshoot manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods.
- Documentation: Conduct process quality audits and maintain inspection records.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proficiency: Full proficiency gained through job-related training/education and considerable work experience.
- Mentorship: Likely to act as a mentor for colleagues with less experience.
- Problem Solving: Takes a broad perspective to problems and identifies new, less obvious solutions based on practice and precedents.
- Experience: Familiarity with systems such as Nexus, Relay, or Radar is highly desirable.
- Laboratory Experience: Experience working in a laboratory setting, particularly within a chocolate manufacturing environment, is a plus.
