The post holder is an Executive Director of the CSH Surrey Board and has shared corporate responsibility for the overall strategic direction, performance, and success of the organisation. The post holder has Executive lead responsibility for: a) Chief Nurse for CSH Surrey b) Patient safety and patient experience, including infection prevention and control c) Working with the Medical Director to ensure consistent high quality clinical standards d) Quality improvements - Monitoring, responding, learning e) Professional leadership professional lead across all nursing and allied health professionals f) Safeguarding leadership for adult and children and families services g) Establishing and developing culture of innovation in partnership with the Medical Director h) Equity of standards for equality, diversity, and inclusion in clinical services Post holder is the Senior Risk Officer, Director of Infection Prevention and Control and lead Executive Director for Integrated Governance Committee. Duties as a member of the CSH Executive Team and Board a) To uphold the values of CSH Surrey as a co-owned organisation. b) To work collectively with the Board and Executive Team to lead CSH Surrey such that it provides the best possible healthcare within the available resources. c) To share responsibility for developing an organisational climate which fosters genuine openness and partnership with service users/carers, CSH Surrey co-owners and employees of other partner/stakeholder organisations. d) To play a key role in forging proactive and constructive partnerships with all key customers and stakeholders in the health economy. e) To influence and ensure the widest possible participation in the health and social care agenda to support the development and delivery of strategic objectives. f) To contribute to the long-term strategy, growth, and diversification of CSH Surrey. g) To participate in the on-call rota, responses to major incidents and corporate presentations and briefings and deputise for the CEO and Director colleagues as required.
