We are looking for a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to join our client's team and lead their commercial marketing efforts. In this role, you will develop and deliver strategic marketing initiatives that enhance brand awareness, drive customer acquisition and retention, and generate income across various services. You will work closely with senior colleagues to align marketing outcomes with organizational goals and manage a team of marketing professionals to meet ambitious targets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy in collaboration with the Head of Commercial Marketing.
- Provide strategic marketing leadership and advice for income generation, recruitment, awareness campaigns, and behaviour change initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals to achieve marketing goals and objectives.
- Oversee the creation and execution of marketing plans to meet organizational income targets and statutory service outcomes.
- Manage forecasting and KPI tracking for marketing campaigns and channels.
- Conduct soft market testing, tendering, and contract management for advertising contracts.
- Identify new income growth opportunities and stay updated on sector developments affecting service delivery.
- Foster relationships with internal teams (Creative Services, Communications, Web, Research, Insight, Procurement, and Policy) for integrated campaign development.
- Promote the use of data and business intelligence in marketing decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best-practice guidelines.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Advanced professional qualification (e.g., CIM) is desirable.
- Experience in strategic marketing and integrated campaign management.
- Proven track record of effective people, change, and stakeholder management.
- Experience in media planning, buying, and using various marketing channels (web, social media, email marketing, video, print, etc.).
- Expertise in contract management, creative media buying, and marketing agency management.
