What You Will Achieve 

Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in planning and managing the efficient flow of products and services through the Pfizer supply chain cycle. You will ensure that the products arrive on time and within acceptable quality parameters meeting the desired marketing and financial objectives.  Through your extensive knowledge in logistics management, you will guide the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes and system to meet customer requirements.

How You Will Achieve It 

• Managing the efficient flow of materials and products within the warehouse environment.
• Ensuring constant regulatory compliance and readiness for inspections within the warehouse.
• Conducting effective training for warehouse colleagues and ensuring compliance with SOPs and OJT.
• Ensuring compliance with cGMP and EHS standards, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and ensuring inventory accuracy during material receipt, storage, and issuance.
• Managing inbound and outbound shipments, including coordination with freight forwarders, material release with Quality, and compliance with customs, excise, environmental, health, maritime, and IATA regulations.
• Handling maritime insurance claims and customer complaints, coordinating insurance matters, and implementing CAPA related to warehousing and shipping.
• Perform shipping studies to assess and optimize shipping processes, collaborate with logistics partners, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Timely preparation of materials for production and finished products for shipping, coordinating with cross-functional areas to meet inventory targets, shipment schedules, and delivery performance.
• Conduct safety and quality investigations to address warehouse-related incidents, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and maintain high standards of product quality and integrity throughout.
• Ensuring overall safety and quality compliance for warehouse management, implementing safety regulations at all times.
• Material planning to ensure availability of materials for production, reviewing MRP requirements, and analyzing inventory status to identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory for further action.
• Manage the disposal of distressed inventory, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining proper documentation throughout the disposal process.

Qualifications 

Must-Have 

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management or equivalent. 

• Knowledge and experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment. 

• Good verbal and written communication skills. 

• Knowledge of domestic and international logistic and government regulations. 

• Microsoft Office Suite skills.

• Experience with inventory and material management concepts.

• Possesses a positive, continuous improvement mindset. ​

Nice-to-Have 

• Advanced training in project management, supply chain management, scientific or clinical disciplines, business administration and/or people development. 

• In depth understanding of the regulatory guidelines impacting the logistics system requirement. 

• Good knowledge and understanding of advanced level of system application and products.

• 3-5 years of related experience in a supervisory capacity in operations/warehousing preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.

We are looking for a Supply Chain Logistics Intern to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to our Sr. Director Procurement Center of Excellence and based in Newark, DE.  This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Data collection from commodity managers on suppliers, PNs pricing, qty
• Develop master log for past & current spend
• Develop macros for auto generate charts on spend analysis, part list, cost trend
• Propose a system to work with IT to develop tool

Skills and Experience:

• Working knowledge of PC business software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Highly motivated and a self-starter
• Strong oral and written communication skills 
• Must demonstrate a bias for action and implementation
• Proven and demonstrated teamwork skills
• You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, and are successfully maintaining an above average GPA, preferably 3.0 or higher.

The Manager of Transportation is responsible for leading and developing a team of salary and hourly professionals who are focused on delivering "best in class" results across safety, customer experience, and financial targets. This role will set goals / objectives and ensure accountability for delivering results in a large scale transportation operation. You Will Contribute By:

• Accountable for P&L management: Control expense of outbound operations while looking for ways to drive revenue through the efficient execution of inbound lanes (backhaul/brokerage). Partner with inbound transportation to ensure alignment on capacity and costs associated with freight pickup.

• Serve as the transportation subject matter expert for projects when assigned

Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks and minor repairs on all mechanical assets impacting the operation of the facility, physical structure, and exterior grounds under the instruction and close supervision of leadership
• Perform basic inspections of refrigeration system under the instruction and close supervision of leadership.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on material handling equipment per manufacturer and company guidelines to ensure continual and safe operation under the instruction and close supervision of leadership

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate power tools, cutting torch and other welding apparatus to cut or join metal parts
• Utilize onsite motorized lift and rental equipment as needed while operating, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Completion of trade school courses or minimal experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: building maintenance, material handling equipment maintenance or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia, Freon and/or CO2)
• Capable of completing routine preventative maintenance with instructions and supervision
• Fully proficient with, and capable of operating power and hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the facility
• Possess problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with demonstrated organizational skills.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./23 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Some locations require being comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
• Some locations require demonstrated knowledge and practice of Working at Height
