Purpose of Role:

To co-ordinate effectively Mowi’s Packaging Store and Distribution operations in order to provide an efficient turn round of orders which meet agreed aims and targets, together with the control of stock. Nature and Scope

It includes general responsibility for all warehouse buildings, surrounding areas & all functions carried out within the Stores locations

The role has responsibility for developing team members.This includes identifying development needs and supplying the learning of new skills and competencies to meet team aims and individual objectives

It is expected that the role will involve hands on activity. Along with the other supervising colleagues, the role has wider implicit responsibilities for the successful achievement of Mowi’s overall aims

Key Areas:

• Receiving/Put-Away: Unload inbound deliveries safely and move product to storage locations

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using different types of MHE

• Ensure all incoming packaging and dry goods meet company standards, required specifications and purchase order quantities

• Ensure all incoming product is counted, checked and recorded on internal stock control system

• Ensure accurate recording and labelling of stored products

• Security and rotation for packaging and dry goods stock

• Maintain effective stock management system and reporting

• Maintains inventory by conducting weekly / monthly physical counts; reporting & reconciling variances; inputting data

• Maintain efficient warehousing systems including a clean, well maintained area at all times

• Maintain storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements

• Pick and deliver stock to production areas as requested

• General Supervision of the Stores team including; training, Development, holidays and cover, overtime reporting

• Effective Supervision of staff, including absence management, to ensure that a level of service provided meets requirements of the company

• Complete daily / weekly audits & carry out safety inspections, carry out corrective actions & report findings to Line Manager

• Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs

• Any other duties as directed by Line Manager & Senior Management Team.

Overview:

Warehouse workers perform an array of functions that might include accepting and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Workers are required to lift heavy boxes, walk or stand for most of the shift, and wear protective gear and steel-toed shoes. Some warehouse workers will have to operate forklifts on some occasions. All of the above contributes towards supplying the customer with a 100% service level.

Role and Responsibilities/Freeze Storage:

• Unload raw materials from truck, update stock systems. Move raw materials to warehouse storage
• Ensure Goods inwards documents are completed and filed correctly for every intake
• Receive and process warehouse/cold storage stock products (unload, pick, label, & store)
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label & load)
• Maintain a pick accuracy of 99.98%
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations set by the company
• Responsible for quality control. Report damaged products & damaged raw material to Department Co-Ordinator
• Stage finished product for loading. Load finished product onto truck
• Ensure all stock product is counted, checked and recorded on internal stock control system
• Ensure accurate recording and labelling for all finished product received
• Security and rotation for all finished goods stock
• Maintain efficient warehousing systems including a clean, well maintained area at all times
• Load, move, stack, and stage finished goods using different types of MHE
• Keep equipment clean & operational by following operating instructions & reporting breakdowns.
• Carrying out all other general warehouse duties
