AuditSenior (Accountancy Practice)
Location:Chelmsford, Essex (Hybrid)
Salary: £40k -£48k+ Excellent Benefits
Hybrid working: 3 days office, 2 days remote
The Client:
Our client is a well-established accountancy firm, offering a wide range of accountancy, tax, and business services.
The Role:
As an AuditSenior, you will report to Directors, Associates, Managers, and Client Managers and assist in the firm's marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Utilise relevant technical skills and collaborate within the Audit & Accounts Team.
- Finish tasks independently for handover to the Director or Associate.
- Notify the IT team of arising issues and participate in IT training sessions.
- Fulfil appraisal requirements, attend meetings, and address action point.
- Ensure prompt completion of your timesheet and consistently update your Outlook calendar.
- Mentor junior Team Members on audit and accounts assignments.
- Guarantee completion of CPD records annually.
Requirements:
- Previously worked as an Audit Senioror in a similar role.
- Experience and qualifications in auditing.
- Background working in an accountancyfirm.
- Possess ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant technical skills.
- Skilled in relevant computer applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
