Your Opportunity
As a Senior Consultant you will assist Audit Technology and Innovation in carrying out various engagements and projects, by applying your knowledge of client/firm/industry trends and current issues. You will:
Apply proficiency in data analysis and visualization to enhance audit quality through support in substantive audit procedures. This encompasses tasks such as data sanitisation, pre-processing, and visualisation, which involves collecting, analysing and interpreting information on the financial standing, and the design and implementation of audit methodologies and processes.
Develop innovative visualisations through Power BI to provide valuable audit insights, supporting the risk assessment audit procedures, which includes assessing financial risks, evaluating cost structures, the potential risks of operational processes, activities, policies, and systems
Efficiently communicate and collaborate with audit engagement teams and external clients, fostering an in-depth understanding of their business models and audit data analysis requirements. This collaboration serves to align audit objectives and testing requirements effectively, and to report on the existence and effectiveness of the system of internal controls.
Enhance team efficiency by identifying procedures that can be streamlined or standardised. Actively contribute to the development of documentation templates, audit validation tools, or internal testing procedures for Power BI dashboards
Take on the role of coaching junior team members, sharing expertise to facilitate their professional growth and proficiency.
Take on the role of a technical reviewer. This involves evaluating audit data analysis routines designed and implemented by fellow team members, ensuring the work meets the highest quality standards, and verifying the technical accuracy of data pre-processing steps.

Good communication skills; sound understanding of KPMG procedures and internal processes, detailed understanding of audit and accounting practices; strong professional acumen and ability to lead/direct a team.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, utilizing these tools proficiently to augment data analysis, reporting, and communication processes.
Demonstrate a high level of mastery in Alteryx, effectively employing its functionalities to streamline data processing and transformation activities. This contributes to enhanced workflow efficiency and the derivation of accurate insights.
Demonstrate a high level of mastery in Power BI, including the creation of intricate visualizations, dashboards, and interactive reports.
Detailed understanding of audit and accounting practices.
