We are looking for an Internal Control and Audit Manager to lead the implementation of SOX project, assess internal controls, challenge current processes, advise on risk matters, and communicate with various business units to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Implementation of SOX project with external consultants
- Assess the design and operating effectiveness of the internal control structure and compliance with policies and procedures for Hong Kong and overseas offices
- Challenging current processes across the company and identify opportunities for refinement
- Playing an active role in the formulate, maintenance and review of policies and procedures, including ensuring they are up to date with all legislation and best practices
- Deploy the approach and methodology to increase risk awareness
- Responsible for advising on internal controls and risk matters, and proactively recommend continuous improvement for efficient finance and commercial processes
- Communicate closely with various business units across different departments and offices and take ownership of the whole end to end internal audit process, including Group's policies and procedures, corporate governance practices, risk management, and internal controls
- Undertaking internal audits to ensure the company meets its financial, operational and compliance objectives
- Perform ad hoc works as assigned
A member of ACCA / HKICPA / Certified Internal Auditor or equivalent Minimum of 6 years relevant experience, at least 2 years with audit or large commercial firm Prefer to have experiences in listed company background and SOX implementation Strong communication and presentation skill with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese Good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills and required to coordinate with various stakeholders Analytical and with good organising capabilities and attention to detail Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
