Who we’re looking for:

The Internal Audit Manager reports to the Head of Non-Financial Risk and is a key component of the Group’s risk management strategy. This is a hands-on role, which requires a high level of versatility. Collaborating internally and externally where required, the Internal Audit Manager will aim to deliver a well-balanced assurance program, using audit evidence and Risk forums to help implement process change, enabling achievement of the company’s strategic plan.

What you’ll be doing:

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Leading the end to end Internal Audit function to achieve balanced, commercial and value-adding assurance outcomes, to continuously improve adherence to the FleetPartners Risk Appetite Statement and Risk Management Strategy
• Contributing to audit strategy and planning activity, ensuring the plan is relevant to the needs of the business
• Developing effective stakeholder relationships at all levels in all areas of the business, including relevant third parties
• Delivering the day-to-day completion of audit activity in line with the Internal Audit Framework, including robust investigation, review and validation of wing-to-wing processes and control points, performing in-depth Test of Control (ToC) and Test of Effectiveness (ToE) exercises as evidence and clearly articulating audit findings and recommendations in a factual and insightful audit reports
• Provide independent and objective assurance over key business processes in accordance with the audit plan and key control testing plan or as directed by the Executive or the Board
• Support the Group in proactively and regularly reviewing business processes for continuous improvement, including documenting and reviewing processes and controls to ensure key risks are mitigated
• Monitor recommended and agreed remediation actions and follow-up as necessary to ensure risks are effectively addressed
• Preparation and Communication of audit status updates to key stakeholders, including status of open audit actions

• Be familiar with all enterprise system capabilities relevant to the Internal Audit function

• Practicable experience in Internal Audit, ideally within the fleet leasing industry, however strong candidates from risk advisory or broader financial services or banking sectors will also be considered
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent in audit and / or risk management disciplines, with demonstration of a strong understanding of corporate governance, risk management and assurance
• Experience with identifying, documenting and assessing risk and controls within the first, second or third line
• Strong understanding of Regulatory Compliance and Operational Risks impacting the fleet leasing industry
• Excellent attention to detail, presentation and communication skills
• Ability to think on your feet, self-motivated, forward thinking who thrives when collaborating with others to continuously improve the way we work

The Chief Audit Executive for the Citigroup Global Markets Europe AG legal entity (CGME) leads Citi Internal Audit's (IA) risk-based audit approach for the legal vehicle. The role is also responsible for the German and Austria Franchise to provide timely, complete, high quality and forward-looking assurance over the governance, risk management and internal control environment framework.

The role will proactively manage IA's relationships with key stakeholders including the Supervisory and Management Board of Directors, senior key stakeholders, regulators, and Internal Audit colleagues.

What you’ll do

• Responsible for the coordination and delivery of a risk-based audit plan and assurance for the legal vehicles in Germany (CGME, CBNAF) and the country as a whole

• Report to the Management and Supervisory Board on assurance delivered and insights

• Responsible for all IA Head of Audit Governance and Oversight requirements related to Germany and will support the Europe Chief Auditor in the overall Cluster assurance.

What we’ll need from you

• Suitable Internal Audit experience, preferably including the German and/or European market and regulatory environment. International experience is preferred

• Experience in leading and in influencing geographically dispersed teams of world-class professionals; experience in highly respected diversified, complex institutions

• Strong leadership skills including a track record of identifying and developing talent

• Knowledge of MaRisk, and a high degree of familiarity with financial sector regulation. Should have a good level of knowledge of liability issues, the use of different legal vehicles, standard documentation, and other legal risks

• Proficient in Risk and Control analysis and audit concepts; Governance, risk management and control frameworks in leading international organizations

• Executive presence and expert in building and maintaining strong open relationships with executive stakeholders; Effective negotiation skills; Strong communication, presentation and relationship management skills

• Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred. Holder of a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACA or CIA) preferred

The Internal Audit Director – Finance and Treasury Portfolio will focus on co-leading the Finance and Treasury Internal Audit team under the direction of the Audit Senior Director – Finance and Treasury, conducting audits in the areas such as general accounting, regulatory reporting, product control, liquidity management, capital management, and interest rate risk management.  The Internal Audit Director is a leadership position within the US Internal Audit Department responsible for the development and execution of a risk based audit plan that addresses the significant risks relevant to the Finance and Treasury Portfolio.  The Internal Audit Director develops strong relationships with Finance and Treasury business partners to obtain an understanding of the risks facing the organization and stay close to new developments impacting the business.  Additionally, the Internal Audit Director role will be responsible for leading, directing, evaluating, and developing audit professionals to ensure audit activities are conducted to high standards of accuracy, rigor, and credibility and according to regulations and industry standards.  The Internal Audit Director will also assist the Audit Senior Director in mentoring and developing the Finance and Treasury Internal Audit team to ensure team members continue to progress their careers. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Audit Senior Director – Finance and Treasury in developing a comprehensive audit plan for the Finance and Treasury Portfolio that addresses key regulatory requirements / expectations and provides a sound third line of defense risk based coverage
• Provide oversight in the execution of the audit plan through the review of detailed project plans that effectively incorporate appropriate risks, scope, staffing requirements, deliverables, timelines, budgets and client availability
• Demonstrate a forward-looking mindset to anticipate what is needed to timely meet objectives and department needs

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
• Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• Experience working in an Internal Audit department at a large US bank focusing on audits of the finance and treasury function
• Strong knowledge of US banking regulations, including Regulation YY
• 12+ years of relevant, progressive experience
• Big 4 or other professional services experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in areas of difficult or complex nature
• Project management skills, including the ability to manage shifting priorities

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Performs Payroll accounting related entries, validation and reports, as required
• Responsible for the security and confidentiality of sensitive data that will be handled.
• Responsible and accountable for general ledger and reconciliation along with responding to any Finance related queries, as well as any proofing related queries.
• Accountable for ensuring HRSS is compliant with all local regulatory and legal requirements related to the accounting transactions posted
• Responsible for keeping up to date knowledge on key HR and GL applications required to assist in processing payroll GL.
• Responsible for working in partnership with Citibank’s vendor (as applicable) on any payroll GL related initiatives and errors whilst processing payroll.
• Provides support for projects related to payroll accounting as required, such as continual improvement and standardization of payroll GL operations.
• Ensures the operating manual procedures are reviewed and updated yearly and when necessary.
• Partner and support Citibank’s HR partners, business heads and designated authorized officers to deliver efficient and high level of customer service.
• Strictly adheres to Risk & Control policies and procedures (such as but not limited to: adherence to secure workplace guidelines, mandatory compliance training and identification/improvement of key risks areas) and reports possible gaps/ breaches. Ensure internal controls are in place.
• Accountable to meet all SLAs and KPIs.
• May be required to perform other related work that may be assigned by direct Line Manager or management to meet the needs of the business.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Graduate of Finance, Accounting or any Business related courses
• Minimum 2 years GL with strong knowledge in accounting and/or proofing related work experience.
• Knowledgeable in various general ledger and sub ledger system/s.
• Proficient in the use of office applications (MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
• Flexible and team-oriented, willing to learn and share experience with team members

The Product Operations Audit team within the Corporate Audit Division (CAD) supports the effective management of regulatory topics relevant to BMO Operations through our audit work and advisory activities. This team audits the back office processes of various departments throughout the organization ensuring compliance with process and procedure resulting in superior management of risk and capital performance and allowing for a more effective and efficient outcome. Your Key Responsibilities:

The Audit Manager is accountable for delivering high-quality audit work of all types across back end operations across the company. You will review, analyze and improve internal operational controls and address operational and financial risks. You will execute on audit assignments and special projects in accordance with the department standards. You will understand the risks being managed by business units and work within established deadlines to meet deliverables.

• Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.

• Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives.

Key Role:

Provide auditing and compliance duties including Audit Readiness Support to the client. Continually analyze the client's overall enterprise audit readiness process design and provide recommendations on how effectiveness could be improved to mitigate conditions that could impair future audit preparedness. Perform audit readiness activities including reviewing and evaluating client findings and providing recommendations for improvements before submission. Contribute to Agency-level presentations, participate in audit finding debriefs to represent client interests, and develop responses for notices of findings and recommendations (NFR) and audit reports on behalf of the Agency. Perform remediation activities for high-priority findings. Establish and deliver workshop sessions to educate impacted stakeholders on the contents of their audit readiness packages. Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience with FISMA, OMB Circulars, and executing NIST risk and security control guidelines and special publications or documents

• Knowledge of cyber threat capabilities and technical capabilities to defend networks and systems

• Knowledge of network operating systems, SLAs, and service expertise

• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team

• Ability to be comfortable informing or briefing senior officials when appropriate

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a lead role working on IT audits and assessments

• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, enterprise risk management, and NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
