The Role:
We are seeking a Receptionist and Secretary to join our team. In this role, you will manage reception and provide secretarial support to our experienced team handling a broad caseload of Residential Property and Private Client matters. Your duties will include client meet and greet, answering and handling queries over the phone, franking, opening and closing files, preparing correspondence, documents, and invoices, and managing administration using our case management system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet clients and manage reception duties
* Answer and handle telephone queries
* Frank mail, open and close files, and prepare correspondence, documents, and invoices
* Administer matters using our case management system
* Provide secretarial support to the team as needed
Experience, Skills, and Attributes:
* Experience with reception duties
* Experience supporting Property Lawyers; experience with Private Client Lawyers is an advantage but not required
* Proficient in touch, audio, and digital dictation typing (preferably 60 WPM)
* Skilled in producing letters and legal documents
* Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* High attention to detail
* Enjoys working in a fast-paced and fun environment
* Team player with a proactive attitude
