Three Counties Academy Trust (TCAT) includes the Queen Elizabeth High School, St Peter’s Primary School, Bredenbury Primary School and Stoke Prior Primary School.
TCAT are looking to appoint an organised and proactive governance professional to provide a range of high-quality clerical, secretarial and administrative support to the Board of Trustees and its committees. Working together with our Chair of Trustees, our governance professional will be responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of governance effectiveness and compliance within the Trust, ensuring governance adheres to good practice and meets all statutory and regulatory requirements. This will include providing legislative and procedural guidance, drafting agendas, keeping records of membership, training, and attendance across the Trust’s governance structure.
Please note that termly governance meetings are scheduled outside of school/office working hours to accommodate our governance volunteers. The specific arrangements regarding working hours will be discussed and agreed with the successful applicant.
The successful candidate(s) will have: • Governance Professional qualification or working towards • Good general communication skills • Excellent, accurate, and concise writing skills • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 365 • Good organisational skills – able to prioritise workload • Excellent record keeping, information retrieval and dissemination of governing body data/documentation • Tact, diplomacy, confidentiality and sensitivity • Ability to use appropriate IT equipment as required by the governing body • Experience of setting up virtual meetings via MS Teams • An ability to speak with confidence and accuracy, using accurate sentence structures and vocabulary.

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our HR Department and General Office.
We are looking for an individual who:
• Has a calm and professional approach, and who can engage effectively with children, their parents, school staff and other stakeholders;
• Is organised, self-motivated and can offer support with minimal supervision;
• Has excellent IT Skills, especially Microsoft Office;
• Is flexible, can manage time effectively, and is able to multi-task; and
• Can communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with a wide range of people.
