The Trees Short Breaks, is seeking to appoint, a flexible, and organised administration assistant.
We are looking for an individual who is pro-active and organised, with the ability to prioritise their workload with minimal supervision. With a friendly and compassionate approach, you will be an enthusiastic and compassionate person, who is able to empathise with others whilst acting professionally.
About the Role
Administration assistant – 16.5 hours per week – working flexibly to meet the needs of the service – between Monday and Friday.
The admin assistant is required to work as part of a team in the provision of all administrative, technical, and secretarial work within the locality supporting services on site.
This post includes general office duties, including customer service, responding to callers and telephone queries, dealing with emails, filing and data collection.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
- Have skills to undertake general office duties e.g. post, fax and file management (paper and electronic) photocopying maintenance of office equipment, research, collating and disseminating identified materials.
- Be able to produce typed documents including reports and correspondence (electronic or paper formats) from hand-written/audio information, making layout presentation decisions.
- Receive visitors, respond to and screen telephone calls emails and other enquires in order to provide a high level of customer care.
- Support managers in the management of sometimes challenging and potentially confrontational situations with continued professionalism.
- Maintain office stationery stock by re-ordering against pre-determined levels and within prescribed budget for approval by supervisor. Receive deliveries check off.
- Assist managers in ensuring that their teams maintain effective information and data management systems including paper and electronic documents/indexing etc.
- With support of line manager manage their own workload against agreed objectives.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
