Property fixed assets are the group’s largest asset with a value of approximately £1.8 billion. The role is responsible for the control and maintenance of the property fixed asset registers and other fixed assets record keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the creation and maintenance of the property and other fixed asset ledgers, using the Asset 4000 (A4K) fixed assets module, for all group companies.
Process property additions and disposals as advised by Development Fixed Asset Accountant.
Process component replacements within A4K (including journal preparation).
Create monthly depreciation entries for review and processing.
Prepare monthly component accrual entries for review and processing.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for housing and other fixed assets, for all group companies.
Identify any “other” fixed assets for serviced charge purposes.
Reconcile housing stock between the Hub and A4K.

We are seeking to appointment a receptionist to support our busy school office between 8:30am and 4:30pm two days per week, with an hour’s lunch break each day. The successful applicant will staff the front desk, fielding calls and emails, and managing visitors whilst assisting the main admin team with basic administrative duties. The role will also involve basic first aid work, and an additional monthly allowance will be paid in recognition of this.

The Role

• To provide administrative support to the Medical Secretary team assisting in providing secretarial support to Consultants & Clinician teams within the Hospital.

Administrative Support

• To provide efficient and effective administrative support to the standards and timescales required.

• To coordinate, plan and organise a range of activities.

• To complete electronic and/or manual data entry / record keeping in an accurate and timely manner, to agreed format and standards.

• To file, store, retrieve and collate information / items accurately and efficiently.

• To handle queries within the remit of own role and escalate more complex / serious issues to senior staff where required.

Secretarial Service

• To provide a typing and / or secretarial service within the department, including typing, word Processing, audio typing, diary management and organising travel and meeting arrangements.

The Person

• Good communication/interpersonal skills.

• Good IT and keyboard skills.

• Experience of working within an administration / office environment.

• RSA 2 qualification or equivalent.

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualification.
