We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Pharmacy Administration Apprentice who is efficient and organised to come and join our team here in Pharmacy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general office and clerical duties to support the Pharmacy team, with a particular emphasis on inputting into pharmacy systems to support the department, assist with the management of diaries, preparation for meetings and inputting invoices into the JAC pharmacy stock control system.
You will be expected to complete your apprenticeship within 24 months of your start date. Once you have completed your apprenticeship, you will be supported and encouraged to apply for other posts within the trust should you wish.
This vacancy is being advertised as an apprenticeship and as such the salary for the role if reflective of this. Those who currently hold and can evidence the essential qualifications need not apply. Your application will not be shortlisted if you hold the essential qualification.
Whilst this role is being advertised as a fixed term position, there is an expectation that the successful applicant must complete all elements of the apprenticeship. The successful applicant will be placed on a fixed term apprenticeship contract for the duration of the programme. Leading up to the completion of the apprenticeship, the successful applicant will be supported in finding alternative employment opportunities.
· Photocopying, collation, distribution and filing of materials to support the departments business functions.
· Collation and entry of a range of data to support business analysis and audit.
· Input invoices into the JAC system.
· Support diary management of colleagues for meetings and training.
· Daily collection and distribution of post within the Pharmacy Department.
· Input information into various Pharmacy packages, in an accurate manner.
· Assist with the preparation of meetings and conferences, printing papers and booking of rooms.
· Answer the telephone, taking messages and transferring calls.
To provide cover for the administrative team during periods of absence.
