- You will Plan, organize, and oversee the safety and occupational health program for NCIS.
- You will oversee the following programs: NCIS occupational injury/illness, property and equipment damage, motor vehicle safety, and Emergency Vehicle Operator.
- You will work with staff personnel, supervisors, and managers to determine occupation safety and health training needs to reduce or eliminate potential accidents.
- You will provide general publications, other educational material, and bulletin board services as appropriate to develop and maintain the interest in safety.
- You will maintain required records, monitors reports to determine adverse trends and identifies areas requiring greater safety emphases. Recommends and directs appropriate corrective action.
- You will serve as NCIS Fire Safety Officer and is responsible for conducting a vigorous program of fire prevention though continuing education of staff members and requiring physical inspection of the buildings.
