Location & Hours Our team works both on-site, at City Hospital Nottingham, and remotely from home. This role will require some travel to other NUH sites. Office opening hours are between 8am 5pm, Monday Friday. Many of our team work flexibly, including; part-time, flexible start & finish times and compressed hours. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Service Admin Manager (DSAM) in Radiology to cover Plain Film (X-ray) and Paediatrics. Based over City, QMC and the Treatment Centre. You will work with the Administration teams and the Supportive Management team to ensure staffing levels and patient flow through the department.

We are looking for an experience team leader who can motivate and inspire, leading by example to provide our patients with a first class service via our dedicated call centre and at X-ray’s locations across the trust.

Leadership

Line management of the administrative and clerical staff including staff recruitment, training and development.

To contribute to the delivery of ambitious targets by supporting the senior management team to continually improve performance within the service

To provide operational expertise and management support to all members of the service including staffing costs and budget allocation to modality.

Manage appraisals and mandatory training compliance whilst maintaining an efficient filing system.

To provide cover and management support to all members of the admin team in the absence of co-deputy administration service managers

To provide personal administrative support to the Speciality General Manager and Lead Speciality Clinicians as required.
