Temporary Administrator Position - until end of September 2024 with possible extension

Full Time Monday to Friday 37 hours per week - £10.57/hr for the first 12 weeks, rising to £11.88/hr thereafter

Brook Street are currently recruiting admin officers for Derby County Court. Are you enthusiastic and enjoy working as part of a busy team, do you have a passion for providing excellent admin and customer service support, if so, we want to hear from you.

As an admin officer you will provide general admin support within the team, you will need to be flexible, hard-working and have the ability to provide good customer service to a variety of users.

Duties may include but not be limited to

* Creating and updating records on an in-house case management system.
* Producing letters, notices and orders for court. Processing correspondence and making referrals to Judges.
* Dealing with customer queries either by telephone or face-to-face.
* Listing and preparing cases for hearing.
* Clerking and ushering hearings taking place by video conferencing and those attending in person. Liaison between the Judiciary, legal professionals and the parties in civil and family cases.
* Facilitating telephone hearings.
* Sending out invitations for "Teams" meetings and our own in-house video conferencing system.
* General ad-hoc office duties including post room and archive filing.

Required Skills

" Good accurate typing/data entry skills
" Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
" Good strong working knowledge of Microsoft Packages
" Ability to follow instructions
" Ability to work as part of a team but also able to work independently
" Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload

This is a temporary role to run until the end of September 2024, possibly extended beyond this date. Working full time Monday to Friday 37 hours per week. The role is subject to 3 years referencing and a Basic DBS Check

Full training will be given.

Derby FWC | Fitness | Permanent | Full time

From £25,234.56 up to £38,288.64 OTE depending on experience

As a Personal Trainer at our Derby FWC, you're confident, outgoing and approachable. Salary is based on 40 hours a week, made up of 32 Hours gym floor with 8 hours of PT sessions. As your client base grows, you will drop your gym floor hours to maximise your PT earning potential of up to £38,288.64 OTE.

Whilst on probation all contracts will be a minimum of 24 gym floor hours, this is to ensure you earn a guaranteed minimum salary. Your earning will increase as you establish your PT clients and improve your earning potential.

PT sessions have a sliding scale, the more you deliver the more your take home earning potential is.

Your new role
Working with senior staff at Senior Manager and Partner level you will provide personal tax services to a client base which comprises of a mix of individuals, partnerships and trusts. You will prepare and review tax returns to ensure clients are compliant with all necessary tax legislation as well as undertaking tax planning work to ensure the most efficient and effective service is given. You will build excellent relationships with clients and colleagues within the firm.

What you'll need to succeed
You will possess good UK personal tax knowledge and experience gained within a practice environment. Relevant accountancy/ tax qualifications (or part-qualifications) will be beneficial but experience is key. You will also be a great communicator, will have good knowledge supporting clients with personal tax matters such as inheritance tax, capital gains etc and will be able to work collaboratively and effectively with others.
