About the Role

An opportunity has arisen to work as part of the Emergency & GDPR Hub in the Business Support Services Team within Adults & Communities as a Senior Administrative Assistant based at 3 High Street, Coalville. To support the Hub Manager in delivering the work of a specialist Hub, providing an efficient, effective, and comprehensive business support service across all of Adults & Communities. An SVQ Level 3/HNC/ Apprenticeship or equivalent in a Building related discipline is essential. Membership of Institute of Clerk of Works is desirable. Extended relevant experience of site/contractor supervision or Clerk of Works or building trade experience is essential.

You should also be a good communicator with knowledge of current building regulations and Health & Safety legislation. Local Authority experience with experience of refurbishment and large scale investment projects is desirable.

As a Clerk or Works, you may be required to participate in a rota to facilitate the out of hours’ response service during evenings and weekends.

Work Pattern:

35 hours per week: Monday-Thursday 8.45am - 4.45pm

Friday 8.45am - 4.15pm
