The Role

An opportunity has arisen to join the Community Response Service within Adult Social Care as a Telehealthcare Support Clerk. We are seeking a Telehealthcare Suppport Clerk with the passion to be at the forefront of providing services to the residents of Tameside.

As the Telehealthcare Support Clerk, your role is assisting the Service Co-ordinators, Tele healthcare Manager and Team Manager in all aspects of the development of tele healthcare service to Tameside residents. Your role will involve:

• Provision of an appropriate and courteous response to all forms of enquiries, taking messages and making telephone calls, making appointments etc. as appropriate.
• Provision of a reception service to all callers offering relevant advice / support as necessary
• Input / Extract and maintain information
• General enquiries

The Community Response Service provides a 24 hour, 365 days per year emergency response service to vulnerable people living within the borough of Tameside. The service responds to a variety of emergency situations and liaises with a wide range of other agencies as dictated by individual circumstances, in cases supplying and monitoring numerous Tele healthcare devices.

About You

You will complete an induction and be offered the relevant training and support to develop techniques and skills to respond to vulnerable service users.

The Role

Children Services are looking to appoint a Team Clerk to work within their Residential Children's Homes.

The successful candidate will work in two of the five Children's Homes on a weekly rota and will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Manager of each home.

Duties will include: maintenance of staff records, word processing, petty cash claims, detailed note taking and ensuring all systems are kept up to date.

About you

You must be proactive, highly motivated & organised and have the ability to work as part of a team. A good level of IT competence is needed to work with database, spreadsheets and word processing tasks on a daily basis.

Community Gateway Clerical Officer

Band 2 - 37.5 hours - Permanent

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Community Gateway Service. The Gateway receives referrals to the District Nursing Neighbourhood, the Integrated Urgent Care Team and the Adult Social Care Neighbourhood teams.

What is a Community Gateway Clerical Officer?
This is the person at the end of the phone when a member of the public requires access to urgent and non-urgent health and social care interventions. They will gather as much information as possible, assess situations and provide clear, correct advice. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join our busy administration team in providing a professional and effective Outpatient Booking and Scheduling Service for the Trust.

The Booking and Scheduling Clerk post will currently require cover of shifts between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, booking and scheduling within the department, with the main part of the role supporting the clinic cancellation and template team.

The role requires an enthusiastic, competent and proactive individual with an appreciation and understanding of the confidential nature of the work.

Applicants should be excellent communicators with good telephone skills and have the ability to deal with the general public on a daily basis and maintain a positive approach to customer care.

Computer literacy is essential as you will be required to input and extract information from a number of Trust Patient Administrative Systems.

Responsible for providing an efficient and high-quality service to support the Central Booking Office in the management of outpatient appointments and referrals whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality at all times.

Duties include

• Administrative tasks: Completing paperwork, documentation, and administration
• Supporting conveyancing searches: Analysing and verifying checks on a property
• Liaising with clients: Communicating with multiple stakeholders, managing expectations, and taking phone calls
• Preparing and drafting documents: Audio typing, sending out letters, emails, and faxes, and preparing bills
• Opening and closing files: Using a case management system called Inteliworks to create and manage client files
• Assisting with financial duties: Inputting time recording, preparing bills, and checking levels of work in progress
• Photocopy, print, scan, and organise couriers
• Monitor post and emails
• Deal with basic queries and general administration
• Chase relevant parties
• Pass information to the conveyancing team
