Role Overview:

Advisers also play an important role by coaching and guiding our customers that are supporting vulnerable adults who have started to lose or have lost mental capacity. Therefore, it's important that Advisers have the ability to show empathy and understanding towards our customers.
Customer Service Advisers receive regular management support, and all members of the team work together to achieve our targets.
The work mainly involves communicating with our customers verbally by telephone but also in writing, and completing the related administrative work following each interaction with a customer. You will be working on the Contact Centre dealing with telephone calls for 6.5 hours per day. You will be the front face of the OPG on the contact centre, so experience of dealing with a range of customer services queries, so experience of working in a contact centre role would be preferable. Temporary Administrator Position - until end of March 2025 with possible extension

Full Time Monday to Friday 37 hours per week - £11.88/hr.

Brook Street are currently recruiting admin officers for Nottingham Crown Court. Are you enthusiastic and enjoy working as part of a busy team, do you have a passion for providing excellent admin and customer service support, if so, we want to hear from you.

As an admin officer you will provide general admin support within the team, you will need to be flexible, hard-working and have the ability to provide good customer service to a variety of users.

Duties may include but not be limited to

• Creating and updating records on an in-house case management system.
  * Producing letters, notices and orders for court. Processing correspondence and making referrals to Judges.
  * Dealing with customer queries either by telephone or face-to-face.
  * Listing and preparing cases for hearing.
  * Clerking and ushering hearings taking place by video conferencing and those attending in person. Liaison between the Judiciary, legal professionals and the parties in civil and family cases.
  * Facilitating telephone hearings.
  * Sending out invitations for "Teams" meetings and our own in-house video conferencing system.
  * General ad-hoc office duties including post room and archive filing.

Required Skills

" Good accurate typing/data entry skills
" Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
" Good strong working knowledge of Microsoft Packages
" Ability to follow instructions
" Ability to work as part of a team but also able to work independently
" Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload

This is a temporary role to run until the end of March 2025, likely to be extended beyond this date. Working full time Monday to Friday 37 hours per week. The role is subject to 3 years referencing and a Basic DBS Check

Our MOJ client requires an administrator to join the admin team within the Nottingham Justice Centre,
based in Nottingham City Centre and offers a great opportunity to work within the courts and gain experience

The role is temporary and expected to run until March 2025 with the possibility of being extended past this date, working full time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Duties may include but not be limited to

* Dealing with Emails from the public and professional court users
* Dealing with incoming calls
* Assisting Judges and Legal Advisors, ensuring the courts are prepared with the required files and any required admin assistance they may require
* Data Entry
* General Administration tasks and maintenance of databases
* Manage Social Distancing within the public areas of the court
* Manual and electronic filing

There may also be occasions when you will need to man the phones in their contact centre - inbound and outbound.

This role involves being flexible and able to adapt to different work areas and groups as needed.


Ideal candidates will need to be experienced administrators and confident with IT systems including Microsoft packages. You will be a team player and enjoy working as part of a busy team

Our client requires the following skills

* Good strong admin experience
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and outlook
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to remain calm in potentially difficult situations
* Ability to remain professional at all time and converse with a variety of court users

Brook Street are recruiting for 10 Administrators to join the Searches team within our public sector client Office of Public Guardian. There will be two start dates, 14th and 21st October 2024.

The first 5 compliant will start on the 14th and the final 5, once compliant, will start on the 21st October.

The roles are temporary, initially until the middle of March 2025 with the possibility of being extended beyond, full time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday and there is the possibility of hybrid working.

The successful candidates will be based in Nottingham.

Responsibilities may include any of the following, but not limited to:

* Handling, processing & posting documents in line with organisational guidelines

* Monitoring and obtaining work from a shared email inbox

* Checking each email and form whilst searching the internal computer system.

* Collating information from the cases and documents held on the system to produce a result for the customer

* Sending the results as a Microsoft Word document attached to an email response for the customer

* Carrying out various administrative activities, data input, filing, spreadsheet maintenance

* Managing own workload in a timely manner

* Targets to be met as well as quality to provide the best service for the customers.

The following essential skills are required
* Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Accurate data entry skills and a keen eye for detail as this role can be repetitive

The following skills are desirable
* Experience of working with Adobe Pro
* Experience of working in an operational delivery area or administration
