Weymouth College is a General Further Education College situated on the stunning Jurassic coastline in Dorset. We are an ambitious college offering broad learning opportunities to our students who are at the heart of all we do.

We are passionate about fostering creativity and nurturing the talents of our students. Due to high student numbers, we are expanding our team with a focus on teaching on our Level 3 & 4 creative courses.

We are seeking talented and enthusiastic individuals from a range of artistic specialisms to join our team as Creative Arts Lecturers on a fixed term contract until July 2025. This is a varied role that requires versatility and a passion for teaching. We are particularly interested in applicants with a background in visual communication, but we encourage professionals from all creative disciplines to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

* Teach and develop curriculum for predominantly Level 3 & 4 creative courses.
* Inspire and engage students with diverse and innovative teaching.
* Provide guidance and support to students in their artistic development.
* Assess and evaluate student work, offering constructive feedback.
* Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall educational experience.
* Stay updated with industry trends and developments and integrate them into the curriculum.
Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
* Professional experience in visual communication or other artistic specialisms.
* Previous teaching experience is highly sought.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Passion for art and creativity.

This role is for 30 hours per week, but there is a possibility of a job share. Bank staff positions may also be available.
