Job Description
You will provide high professional advise, validation, suggestion of Nokia NI network architecture and Cyber-security solutions/practice
You will engage Nokia key customers (especially Senior director, VP or CxO level) and will be involved for Nokia NI strategic projects/accounts to convince solutions/resolutions to address concerns on Nokia NI network architecture or Cyber-security
You will contribute internal work process of Nokia NI APAC CE, blue-print network architectures/use-cases (especially for Cyber-security related) with Nokia NI product solutions, assessments/audits of security control implementation etc
You will be assigned as NI Cyber-security Evangelist for APAC region with ownership and as the single point of contact from NI APAC to joint the discussion with HQ security team as well as other regions' counterparts and endorse the security best practice into Nokia NI APAC engineering teams.
You will start as individual contributor directly reporting to Nokia NI APAC RBC Customer Engineering head, and need to involve, collaborate closely internal teams of Nokia NI APAC RBC e.g. CE teams of technologies, strategic solution team, regional PLMs, Presales/BDMs, project management team, as well as Nokia sales team to support strategic customer's demand or influence the strategy for Nokia APAC NI top 20 accounts.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- This is a regional position with high technical competence and strong Telecom industry experience on the Network design, consultancy, planning, Operations etc.
- Driving Telecom Network Assessment and Security Assessment projects, from proposal to Report creation to complete the processes.
- Face to the customer to provide consultation and recommendations to the customers to prioritize the actions to eliminate the risks.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to stakeholders regarding network technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
- Translate strategic evolution into an executable plan.
- Driving Telecom open Security and Reliability Observations to closure with Domain owners.
- Driving discussions with observation owners in the client environment and defining plan of action with closure ETA, provide support & direction, highlighting appropriate stakeholders for seeking necessary intervention in risk closure.
- Supports a strategic vision on network evolution.
- Maintaining central trackers for all observations for effective monitoring of the risk.
- Implement strategies for identifying and remediating potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Conducting Monthly / Quarterly Customer reviews on open observations.
- Good knowledge of Control framework and Design with respect to NIST/CIS/ISO/MITRE
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum work experience 15 years in Telecom background.
- Practical experience of Telecom Network infrastructures and systems.
- Strong understanding of IP/MPLS Networks, DWDM Optics Networks, Fiber Access Protocols and design and design principles. (minimum 2 of 3 domains)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Good understanding of CIS benchmarking, STIGs and NIST SP800-53
- ITIL Standard Certified.
- Good understanding of Telecom network incident management.
- Good understanding of vulnerability management.
- Good understanding of Security Incident management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Good understanding on Minimum baseline security for telecom nodes.
- Must have Experience in control design and measuring operating effectiveness.
- Experience in Technical Risk Management lifecycle.
- Work Experience in Consultancy company is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE or CISSP are a plus.
