An exciting business who have recently expanded are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer. This business specialises in building and consultancy services across a number of vast and diverse sectors. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for liaising with clients to provide building design services.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate across the team to meet project-based goals.
• Provide technical support to clients in relation to the design projects.
• Ensure design projects correspond with relevant regulations.
• Monitor budgets in correspondence with client needs.
• Work with external design teams to ensure the client briefs are met.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• BEng Mechanical/Architectural Engineering degree, OR NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 years' experience working within an engineering role, ideally within a similar field to the current position.
• Experience with design software's such as AutoCAD and NES.

An excellent job opportunity has arisen for an experienced SAP Solution Architect to join one of the most established organisations in South Wales on a permanent basis.

Your new role
The SAP Solution Architect will join a highly successful and growing Enterprise Applications team that are responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of critical business operations. You will liaise closely with a range of key senior stakeholders and product owners to implement business requirements, design high-quality solutions, proactively support technical implementation and the delivery of the solutions.

You will monitor emerging technologies, relevant and innovative industry trends and provide architectural input into the selection of relevant software products and services. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the wider IT Teams including Infrastructure, technical, Network, Service, SAP, and Security Architecture, to ensure that all proposed Applications Solution Architectures fit within the wider IT proposals.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

• A proven track record of working as a Solution Architect
• Strong SAP knowledge and experience is essential
• Proven experience working in a software design, technical delivery, or software solution architect role
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proven experience in designing, implementing and governing solution architecture
• Knowledge of applications/software solution architecture/design
• This role would suit a dynamic, forward-thinking individual who is comfortable liaising with a range of different stakeholders.

This will be a hybrid working role (3 days a week on site in Cardiff or Newport.)
