Role Description
A new role to meet the growing needs of our organisation as we increase our visibility and move into a more proactive phase of our engagement and fundraising activity. It promises to be a varied and rewarding role in a small but highly collaborative and dynamic team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about great design, with a keen eye for detail and a creative streak. The incumbent will reports to the Marketing Manager and HOD of Fundraising, Marketing & Volunteer Management while working closely with colleagues to create and develop eye-catching and compelling designs across a range of offline and online channels.
Key Responsibilities
· Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategise on a wide range of materials
that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral,
signages, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing
materials
· Deliver creative solutions for visually based problems or needs.
· Take ownership of projects to create exciting and innovative
communication materials
· Provide digital-ready files for use on website, social media and in video
· Incorporate relevant branding, marketing, and communication strategies in designs
· Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography,
and videography
Required skills and qualifications
· Creativity and innovative design skills
· Ability to produce artwork from initial brief right up to the finished
product
· Experience across the Adobe creative software suite (InDesign,
Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom etc.)
· Organisational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a
fast-paced environment
· Strong eye for detail
Preferred skills and qualifications
· Diploma in graphic design, art, or related discipline
· At least two years of relevant experience is an advantage; fresh
graduates are also welcome
· Flair for photography and videography
· Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
· Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems
· Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software
· Good-to-have: Video filming experience and video editing skills (e.g.
Adobe Premier Pro, CapCut)
